I really liked this episode. This show is definitely on a up swing for me. Scarecrow wasn't that interesting but I liked everything else. Even liked Bullock putting the moves on the one lady.

I wish they had Ivy come out of the bathroom right when kitten girl jumped out the window and be like hey what's up. I guess she already left.

Morena is so hot in this. Even though her and Gordon's relationship didn't add anything I liked seeing it grow.

I didn't think we would see Fish this soon or even ever again but I'm glad she is around since she is my second favorite character. They went all out on the Cat Woman vibe this episode. I got the feeling she knew the guy at the end.

Morena -short hair 6
Morena -long hair 9

One of the stronger episodes I think, writing understands the characters, exposition not needed as much. Unlike some, I love all the juggled plot lines, and with Seinfeldian length scenes, a LOT happens in an hour.

Scarecrow wasn't that impressive of a debut and his son showing up was a pointless cameo.

I know that, but you don't cast a known actor like Julian Sands for him not to return as a recurring role. Gotham is rewriting it so the Scarecrow we know that will eventually go up against Batman actually inherited all the fear gas stuff from his father. For all intent and purposes, Julian Sands is the Scarecrow on Gotham.

I agree with this. I liked all of the plots and found the dating stuff hilarious with Bullock trying to put the moves on that redhead and Gordon bringing those morgue photos to the restaurant.

I liked what they did with the Edward Nygima plot line as well. The Bruce stuff finally paid off for me as they're showing why/how Bruce Wayne becomes so sullen (probably a better word for this) when he grows up.

Oh yeah, did anyone find the scene where the kid walks in on Crane trying to drown the redhead kinda funny? I figured there would have been more of a reaction from him but he just kinda treated it as if it's an everyday occurrence or something.

Well judging from the previews, we're going to find out more back story on how the kid becomes Scarecrow, so it wasnt just a pointless cameo. Julian Sands is just Dr. Crane.

The Ending scene with Fish was Laughably eye-rolling bad.
Jada looks like she is auditing for a live-action VIXEN series.

The main story with Dr. Crane was very good.
Dr. Thompkins shines in every scene she is in. Barbara who?

Anyone else think Morena's character will turn out to be evil?

Anyway, her character on Gotham reminds me of Teri Hatcher in her Lois & Clark days.

pretty good episode

they need to find something plausible to do with Bruce and Alfred, mainly for Alfred

Selina Kyle is a waste of space and i think she started off looking cute, now looks a bit weird

Not sure how familiar people are with her character, so...
Spoiler:

She's one of the good guys in the comics, and an eventual ally to Batman. I know this show has its own continuity, but I don't think they'd change things around that much.

There was a story where

Spoiler:
She purposely didn't save a character she could have to teach Batman a lesson or something. That seemed pretty evil, but it was later retconned to be a lie and the death was faked.

She was supposed to be rather elderly when Bruce's parents were murdered. She was also the person who first comforted him when they died.

Isn't she a O'Neil-Adams-era creation? I remember in the animated series she knew his indentity and served as a confidant for some of his psychological troubles.

The only thing with this show is there are a ton of characters you know just aren't gonna die (e.g. we always knew Penguin would escape from the car crusher) and that takes away a bit of the suspense

To be fair, hardly anyone really dies in the comics either.

People die in the comics all the time. They just never stay that way. Though compared to Goku and Optimus Prime, they don't die that often.

Really dies was the key there. People die for six months to two years. Jason Todd or Bucky might get a few decades, but few characters really die.
