Yeah, that threw me off big time too.

Loved the scene with Raylan and Choo-Choo.

"You just about hit me, and now you're gonna sling foul utterences in my direction?"

Timothy Olyphant is so good in this role. Justified has gotten its mojo back after the disappointment of last season.

Do you think Boyd's onto Ava, or did she successfully cover her ass? It's hard to tell with that man.

Sam Elliott without his mustache made uncomfortable, but I really liked his scene with Steenburgen. They've got good chemistry.

Great exchange:

Tim - "Does it rock your world if I told you we don't discuss open cases with every Joe Dipshit we meet on the street?"

Ty Walker - "Aw, you're kind of a dick, huh guy?"

Re: Justified (S6E02) -- "Cash Game" -- 1/27/15

Just came across this for those interested:

Why did you decide to play this character without your trademark mustache?

I didn’t have it when they cast me, and I didn’t have time to grow one that I wanted to wear on weekly episodic TV. So I left it off, and I’m glad I did. It helped me a lot with this guy to look different than I did in most of the work I’ve done. And I never combed my hair straight back, either, so that’s a new thing. That seems absurd, probably, but it’s that little subtle stuff that makes all the difference in the world.

could someone tell me why the deed for the pizza shop was so important to Boyd? I think I must have missed something.

It used to be a bank. So I'm guessing maybe something still there? I dunno.

The fact that the building used to be a bank means there is a vault, so most likely have something to do with that.

Is Sam Elliot supposed to be the "boss man", or owner of Tigerhawk Security?

That was Dewey's gator teeth necklace that Boyd's man found in the bar, right? I hope him hanging that behind the bar is not something that comes back into play, that seems a bit too forced if say someone like Raylan sees it.

I was thinking it was about 50/50 Ava suffered the same fate as Dewey when that last exchange started with Boyd in his bar; especially it being the last season where the writers can make big moves like that. I think he still has lingering concerns, but the last exchange probably bought her some benefit of the doubt. I also have this feeling that she is going to do just enough to stay in the Marshall's favor but end up helping Boyd (and will probably die while doing so)

Do like that they are using Tim a bit more, that whole scene in the pizza place was great.

Choo Choo is an interesting character, I know I probably shouldn't have been, but I couldn't help but laugh when Raylan tossed him the keys and he didn't even react to it.

Why would it feel forced? And of course it's going to come into play. It was, after all, one thing that Raylan commented about Dewey when he first met him in episode 1 and it was part of the conversation in that episode that Raylan connected Dewey to.

That's like hanging Raylan's hat up on the bar.

No, I'm pretty sure that's someone else entirely.

I loved how everyone kept insulting Dillahunt, and his reactions.

Choooochoooo!

Why do you think that? Didn't the text at the end signify it was Elliot?

Just because it would be too big of a coincidence. The guy the security firm is scamming is same guy that Steenburgen & Co are robbing, but it just so happens that the head of the firm is friends with Steenburgen as well? I might be wrong, but it seems too hokey and far-fetched for this show. That would be more like something they'd do on Sons of Anarchy.

Since this literally the only tv show I watch, you would think I could follow things better. I could have sworn that when Elliot was checking his phone they cut to one of the mercs, intimating it was them contacting him. That wasn't the case upon checking it again.

However, we know that Elliot will be the main antagonist this season. And I took it as Steenburgen knows she was robbing Elliot.

I lost my shit when that happened and when he told Raylan that the other guy wasn't the "HNIC"

Also.... shouldnt Ava still have a huge scar on her tit from a few seasons back from being shot by Dickie?

I didn't find it too shocking
he didn't have one in We Were Soldiers either

seeing him on a tv show was more shocking to me, although I see a number of tv credits for him on imdb
