Meep has died for real. The actor who played him is reported to have passed away after being hit by a car last week.

Saw earlier. So sad.
Dude should have used a cross walk though. He's hard to see as it is.

Fucking Ryan Murphy does it again and now I'm at least curious at next season's HOTEL theme with Lady Gaga staring in it.
Though this probably means more stupid music numbers.

Only a part of a way through this episode but i can't get over the ridiculousness of the Freaks massacre by Dandy !
after 1, 2 , 3 gunshots, the freaks are still doing their normal thing ! one gunshot and most people would be in defensive mode. And Tall woman beats up Vic Mackey EASILY but can't beat Dandy ? Dandy takes her punches and hits against metal without getting knocked out, sheesh !

Watched this over the past couple weeks. Better than Coven, but that's not saying much. Wasn't really invested in any of the characters, nor the story. Had some moments that kept me interested enough to keep watching though.
One thing that I thought was odd was the use of modern songs. Like when Jimmy was singing Nirvana's "Come As You Are".
Sad to learn that Jessica Lange is done with the series.
I'll tune into "Hotel" in the fall, but I'm definitely not as excited about this show as I was after the first 2 seasons.

Would you be interested in watching 2 seasons back to back next year? That's 26 episodes over possibly 8-9 months. Or is that overkill?
There could be TWO seasons of American Horror Story in 2016
The appetite of American Horror Story has grown from year to year in terms of ratings and awareness, with last year’s Freak Show garnering the biggest audience and most Emmy noms than any iteration preceding.
So, it’s not altogether surprising that Ryan Murphy and his writing team are considering doing two iterations of the series going forward. “Next year we might do a fall American Horror Story and a spring,” says Murphy. “We have to decide.”
He adds, “We’re doing something that we’ve never done before on the show where we’re doing two different groups of writers rooms. Some of our writers will be bouncing around but a whole different group coming in late August. The next thing we’re crafting up is very, very different than this. Not smaller. But just not opulent. More rogue and more dark.”

Definitely overkill. Quality-wise the show has been trending down and now they want to bang out back to back seasons? I have strong doubts that it will work out.

I actually thought the Freak Show entry was their strongest, but agree one season/year is sufficient.

Until they improve their ability to keep one season's quality up to par through it's run, they should stick to one per year.
Of the four seasons, Freak Show was the best through it's first few weeks. But those last few episodes were terrible.

Not only that, but Ryan Murphy and his writers are also overseeing Scream Queens on FOX and American Crime Story also on FX.
I'm pretty sure that all 3 shows film close to simultaneously so that they can meet their air date deadlines. That's a lot for him and his writers to work on.
He says in the article that he would need another writers room to work on the Spring edition of AHS (if it happens)

1 a year is plenty, it already feels like they're grasping at straws.

I'm still not even sure I'm going to watch the newest season of this; much less if there is going to be two.
I honestly wasn't impressed with the endings of any of them. They start out alright usually, but go downhill.

They should either cut a few episodes from the season or start it earlier (mid-September) so the season is over before Christmas.
I think the time of the year (approaching Halloween) helps ramp up interest for every season. I don't think I'd be in the mood for another season that premieres in the winter or spring.

Agreed. Everything just falls flat. By the time it's halfway done, I stop watching and then just binge months later because I lost all interest. Maybe it might be different with Lady Gaga in and the old actress out (was frustrated she ALWAYS played the same character) and hoping that Emma's role is small since she is doing Scream Queens.

Another cast member from this season has died. Rose Siggins portrayed Legless Suzi.
