For those who don't follow football and want to know when the series premiere of 24: Legacy will air, it will air at approximately 10:30pm ET maybe later on Super Bowl Sunday.

If you live on the East coast, don't watch football and can't stay up that late, plan to pad for your DVR accordingly.

A friend of mine who works at FOX saw a screener of the Pilot. He said while it was entertaining, but it falls into many of the same cliches & ridiculous plot devices of the original series. He also said it's not going to win any acting awards. But he said he will see episode 2 next Monday.

Yeah he's not slated to appear until roughly the second half of the season from what I understand.

I believe they had roughly 4 episodes in the can when it was announced he was cast.

Most of the reviewers who have been bashing this are commenting about how un-PC it is. Makes you wonder if they ever watched the original '24'. I'm in.

Set the TiVo last night. I've also avoided pretty much everything outside of the initial trailer posted in this thread.

I'm looking forward to it but I just finished all four seasons of Strike Back yesterday. That show is everything a modern 24 should be. It's like they used the original 24 as a model and stripped it of all the lame bullshit and just made 10 kick ass episodes each season.

So after that, my expecations are low. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised.

I'll post a new thread for the premiere, but don't forget to pad your DVR for Sunday's airing. The Super Bowl could run long. The show is slated to run at approximately 10:30pm ET after the game, but I would pad an extra hour just in case.
