Why is Montoya accusing Barbra of being "toxic?" Why is their relationship destructive? I'm not following? Why exactly do they immediately relapse when they get together?
"OK, I can dig that."
God, I love Logue.
Even gangsters get nostalgic, I guess.
I figured out it was the nurse about 30 seconds before they wanted me to. I'm moron of the year, it should've been obvious from the first scene.
Why in the hell did Ivy answer the phone? Let it ring and warn Selina that it's time to GTFO.
"She's not staff, she's an inmate!"
And Lang never thought to tell Gordon this?
"Do you know what hubris is?"
Between that and Shakespeare, this could almost be pretentious .
What did Penguin hope to gain by taxing fisherman? Just a simple power play? Was he trying to skim some of it off of Maroni?
Figured the creepy guy would come back into play, didn't know it'd be before the episode even ended. The problem with trying to do a whodunit in 45 minutes is that you can really introduce more than a suspect and a red herring.
"Electrocutioner?" That isn't even a word.
Quite apart from her evident inability to notice that the voice on the other end of the phone was a prepubescent girl, while Barbara is off getting high and fooling around with someone else, it's a little rich for her to be angry to hear a female voice when she calls Jim. If it's good for the goose, as they say...

I don't know what the writers are doing with Barbara, but they certainly aren't winning any likeability points with her. 1st, she's Jim's loyal girlfriend, then she can't take the secrets and bails and now she's playing wishy washy bi-sexual with her ex. She was pretty annoying here. I when she called Jim's place and Ivy answered the phone pissing her off.
I liked the scenes in the Asylum. Definitely some tension filled scenes. Morena Baccarin was a nice guest star.

I thought the same thing too.
Which means she should not be a vegan.

This was the first episode where I stopped paying attention. Maybe it was the break, or Gordon working in Arkham, I don't know. Episode just didnt do much for me.

I thought the episode was horrible. It seemed unfocused for the most part. I'm wondering if it's a result of adding episodes to the season because half of the scenes felt like filler.

I think the writers simply wanted that mid-season finale shot of Barbara betraying Jim as a cliffhanger. I would imagine we will be back to the status quo within a few episodes.

I thought this was one of the better episodes.
Barbara while easy on eyes has got to go. Her storyline is boring and dumb.
In fact I wish most romantic subplots would disappear from superhero shows and movies.
Most of them aren't very good plot devices.
