Favorite Christmas Special(s)
Mine is The Twilight Zone's "Night of the Meek" if only for this scene:

Art Carney just knocks it out of the park the whole way through.
Runner up is Buffy the Vampire Slayer's "Amends". (The ending always gets me misty eyed)

I like the Mickey Rooney "Full House" episode and the "Family Matters" episode - Miracle on Elm Street.

Toss up between A Charlie Brown Christmas and Claymation Christmas. But every year I always play them back to back a few times.

Charlie Brown Christmas is the best, though I try to watch the Grinch every year too. Favorite Rankin-Bass is Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.
Best themed episode is Chuck vs Santa Claus from season 2.

Yogi's 1st Christmas (Thank god for BOOM)
A newfound favorite is Rudolph's Shiny New Year. I first discovered this one sometime in the early 2000s and I, now, always revisit it. It's just so damn bizarre.

I will mention two that aren't shown on tv anymore. The Garfield Christmas special, thankfully it lives on with it being on dvd. Then Christmas Eve on Sesame Street, I watched this every year on Christmas eve until PBS stopped airing it, then found it again when it was released on DVD.

Never seen the Pinky & the Brain one. I'd like to see that.
Charlie Brown, Grinch, Rudolph & Frosty are musts every year. Prep & Landing has made it's way into that classic bunch.

I've always been a big fan of the Rankin & Bass 'Twas the Night before Christmas animated special. That plus the Muppets Family Christmas (plus the classics - Charlie Brown, Grinch, Frosty, Rudolph, Santa Clause is Comin' To Town) are must watches every year.

The Little Drummer Boy is a great Rankin-Bass special but rarely gets played these days.

While not a Christmas Special, my daughter has to watch Home Alone every year sometime before Christmas.
