I thought the Alex stuff was really funny and well done. I liked the scene where she was describing Teddy.
The Jay and Manny stuff had a kind of funny payoff but was lame otherwise. Mitch and Cam were terrible. |

The episode would have been so much better if they start off with Mitch and Cam drove over a cliff and died. Used their time instead on developing Alex's Kaiser Soze further. Alex's story line are smart writing. Mitch and Cam are just homophobia inducing.

Got some laughs out of the Alex storyline, but overall a weak episode.
Hard to believe, but ModFam is now the weak link in ABC's Wed night lineup. |

"God! I've done more paddling than Lewis and Clark!"
What's the pun about this? |

I thought the last bit with Mitch and Cam was pretty funny, in the bathroom.
The Teddy scene was really well done. |

For me, the Mitch and Cam story was tiring. I get it that his coworker was to be annoying, but that's all it was.... there was little payoff (if any).

I thought this one was a horrible episode. Lily had the best line of the night when she said "It better not be a baby" when Mitch and Cam said they had a surprise.
However, the Mitch and Cam stuff was too over the top, the Jay/Gloria stuff was unfunny, and the stuff with Alex has been done before on a dozen other sitcoms. Result: probably my least favorite episode this season...and that's saying a lot (this season's been pretty bad). |

I'll actually play devil's advocate here and say the Mitch and Cam storyline wasn't that bad. It was basically lame sitcom plot 101 but compared to the other plot lines Cam and Mitch have it at least made me laugh.
