Really liking this show quite a bit.
Production values are amazing and Hardy is bad ass...

I'm sometimes frustrated that I yet don't know what is fully going on, but I'm still enjoying this series. Like the many other series/movies like it, I figure everything will be explained eventually. I sure hope so, because beyond the obvious incest thing, the relationship and history between him and his sister & mother is not very well explained, yet.
The makeup on the king is excellent is just how disgusting it makes him look. Reminds me of Lynch's Dune.

I assumed he reads all the letters that he sends to his sister. At least that is how I took it when they were doing the voice over of the letters and then the next scene her husband is confronting him.

Just watched episode 4 and we granted with another insane kill. There are more revelations and the supernatural are expanded on, which was neat and quite erotic.

Watched Ep 4 last night. Great stuff.
Although it's still unclear just how he is able to keep get one over the the much more established groups and exactly what is going on with the supernatural element. Does he even have control over it? Hopefully we some kind of extended flashback in Africa that makes things more clear.

Yeah, another stellar episode. I wouldn't mind his bro in law biting the dust in the least.

I would like this show even more without the supernatural gobbledygook. Frankly I don't what it adds other than disjointed distraction from a show that is doing just fine before it showed up.

I'm watching, but after these 90 minute episodes I often marvel at the fact that I don't know what I just watched.

I am watching this show and frigging love it.
Tom Hardy is a badass.
Atmosphere, makeup, costumes and musical score are topnotch.
Jonathan Price is frigging evil incarnate. Honorable East India Company...yeah, right!!!
Yes, the show is hard to follow, especially the supernatural part--but again, it's awesome. I will be bummed when it ends.

Yeah, I thought the same thing again this week: I really enjoy the show but the supernatural/visions stuff only serves as a disjointed distraction and the show would be far better off without it. My concern is that that aspect of the show will become more and more prevalent as the series goes on.

That makes it seem even more pointless because there doesn't seem like enough series left to make all of the time wasted on it amount to anything.

I was all excited after the first episode that they would soon be on their way to the Pacific Northwest but now it looks like they're never leaving Old Blighty at all.

Now that the supernatural stuff, and the relationship with the sister has been fleshed out, I'm not minding it at all. Would have been better to get more context earlier, but had I binged this rather than watch week to week it would have worked far better. Really looking forward to the final two episodes after catching up on that last one.

I have fallen behind on it. I think I got stuck midway through the third episode. I'm still recording it, just had too much going on in life/work and haven't found my way back to it yet. Thought maybe I would catch up today, but the weather was just too nice.

I finally got around to this, and binged my way through the first four episodes. I remember reading somewhere that the showrunners have a 3-4 year story arc in mind... similar to Peaky Blinders.

Aaaaaaaand?
Season finale was tonight. What did you guys think. It's like pulling fucking teeth around here to get people to talk about this show. If that's the temperament then I would not be surprised that the show even comes back for a second season.
Show some love, y'all.
