Wow! I just watched all 12 episodes at YouTube, and I really like this show a lot.

Regarding episode 11:

Spoiler:

A bat mitzvah happens at age 12, not 13. Either the writers made a mistake, or they are setting up the fact that Lauren is actually male.

If a "friend" put ecstasy in my drink without telling me, I would stop being friends with them. Other than Josh (in episode 12), no one even so much as criticized Lauren for what she did.

^ It oddly enough depends on the type of Jew they are. Reform Jews do it at 13 for girls. Ortho and Conservatives do it at 12.

Re: Younger (TV Land) -- S: Sutton Foster, Hillary Duff -- Series Thread

Just binged the last 8 episodes last night and today on Hulu. The episodes were expiring in the next 2 days and I've been delaying finishing this. I did record the show when it originally aired, but got backed up in the Spring, but saw Hulu had them so I deleted them off the DVR. Was always planning to finish the season.

Very solid 1st season. Charming show and Sutton Foster is really likable. I do feel like this show should be 1 hour instead of 30 minutes. Some aspects feel rushed. The actions aren't really fleshed out in some episodes. It's more of a dramedy than comedy. Was really surprised that Liza told the truth to Josh in the Bar Mitzvah episode. Thought they were going to drag out that aspect of her secret. They kind of hinted in a previous episode that the publisher guy, who she babysat for and is more closer to her age, might be interested in her, but never went there.

I hope Liza tells Kelsey her secret next season. I really don't want to see that dragged out. Hillary Duff and Sutton Foster are really good together in their scenes and have good chemistry. I have a feeling Liza's daughter will play a bigger role next season since she called and said she was coming home in the finale.

The little Hulu promo before the episode said this is coming back in January. I'll definitely be back.

I guess this dropped off for most. I bailed a while ago.

Season 5 starts tonight. It was just renewed for Season 6.

Re: Younger (TV Land) -- S: Sutton Foster, Hillary Duff -- Series Thread

I finished season 3 and 4 back to back on Hulu last year.

Not really much to talk about on this show to be honest. It's cute and has some warm and fuzzy moments, but it's not really a message board discussion friendly show.

Season 4 ended at a wedding with Josh marrying some Irish bartender to help her get a green card with Liza looking on. She was in America on a work visa, but it was expiring and Josh was sleeping with her post-Liza break-up. And Liza os sort of in a love triangle with her boss.

That's really how things left off. This isn't some kind of deep heavily serialized show.

It's got so many COMMERCIALS. It feels like each episode is only 20 minutes. I will follow it there, but the stories are getting tired.

Binging is such a great way to see this show. Iím having so much fun rolling through the eps. It has yet to become stale for me (S4) and just has such heart, humor and mini cliffhangers that keep me just enjoying. Sutton Foster is cute as a button and Hilary Duff not looking bad these days at all.
