I wonder what the chances are that a secret mission that General Washington once sent Ichabod on plays into tonight's episode?

They did a good job on the creature for this episode.

That one guy is a walking stereotype. He is like the white version of the token black guy.

Spider in the mouth yuck. That happens in real life. People end up eating hundreds of spiders in their lifetime. Then they give birth to demon babies.

That was another really good episode. The Wendigo was done well, and this episode managed to retain a sense of fun and occasional humor despite the dark tone and subject matter.

Sleepy Hollow really reminds me of a grown up Buffy.

This whole season has been really good. John Noble plays a great villain and the chemistry between Mison and Beharie is perfect.

John Noble as Walter Bishop from Fringe is my favorite character from television, film and literature. He is great as Henry too, I loved the scene from two episodes ago where he is sitting on the floor having a temper tantrum after being scolded by Moloch.

I could have lived a really long time without watching that shot of the spider crawling into Katrina's mouth. Yuck! Other than that, it was a good episode. Now we know that Ichabod is not a yoga kinda guy.

First off, I'm disappointed there are no yoga screen caps already posted in this thread.

Whatever this show is paying its creature designer, it is not enough. Sleepy Hollow has the best-looking creatures and physical monster make-up I've ever seen on network television.

Not just that, but the gore effects that we saw from those first Wendigo victims were pretty damn gruesome (And I've been watching a huge load of R-rated horror movies in comparison)

And yeah, some yoga pics would be nice.

I came here to post pretty much this. That was the best interpretation of the Wendigo I've yet seen, and last week's effects for La Llorona were top-notch.

Hawley remains the show's weak link. He's stealing valuable air time from Jenny and Irving. If the show is under network mandate to add another white guy, I'd rather see Joe Corbin come back.

That Nietzsche quote gets a lot of mileage. Sounded awfully profound when I was 16, I'll say that. Took me a while to realize that I recognized Noble from LOTR, he's hamming it up like crazy here. So Hawley is rolling with the group just to help out now? Drunk driver guy was asshole of the decade. That transformation scene was bad (What was with the purple?), but the makeup itself was damn good, some of the best I've seen on TV. You know, between shows like this, Supernatural, The X-Files, Buffy, & Fringe plus comics and prose over the years, have we exhausted every bit of mythology and legend there is at this point? It's kind of why Supernatural, though still fun, is getting long in the tooth. Is there anything left to explore? I knew the Wendigo, the pied piper, the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, everything down to the monsters under my bed at this point.

I am, as per usual, enjoying this show, even if it treads the familiar ground of the aforementioned though. Kurtzman and Orci have clout for top-dollar production values, the mythology is fun, if muddled, and the rapport between the two leads continues to be lots of fun. I'm predicting they have this planned out to reveal the last horsemen at the end of the next two seasons. The horses aren't the right colors though .

While I loved Noble on Fringe, I think he's way over the top on Sleepy Hollow. He seems to relish playing the villain with cartoonish glee.

I don't mind Hawley in the cast, I think he's there to provide romantic tension.

Yeah, especially when she repeated the line "Two jugs?" while bending over with a slight pause.
