So I highly doubt that they are going to take notice to a gash in his leg, or any other part of his body.

Not to mention it was nighttime, so they probably wouldn't have been able to see a scratch or bite on his skin, even moreso since his skin is dark.

They also probably wouldn't have inspected for bites, assuming that someone wandering around a camp would be unbitten.

I thought the same thing. I haven't seen this week's Talking Dead yet, but I wonder how long Chris Hardwick goes before making this joke.

We've also got a few Treme actors, including Michonne, the dude Tyreese claimed he killed and one of the guys in Daryl's 'claimed' crew.

Can we please trade Tyreese/Cutty for Omar or his shotgun? The writers are so inconsistent with Tyreese.

Back-to-back good episodes? This isn't the terribly inconsistent Walking Dead I know. The editors for this show need to learn less is more. It was a dead giveaway when Bob started kissing her that something bad was going to happen to him.

I do question some of the characters stumbling around in a pitch-black forest at night in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. I'm pretty sure no one would ever go outside by themselves at night.

Did anyone else notice the carved symbol on the tree that was shown right after Bob was knocked out? We've seen that somewhere else before right? Did I miss something or has it already been explained?

I agree. That was some Hannibal Lecter type shit. Really creeped me out.

Speaking of which, "Hannibal" routinely shows cannibalism in a much more disturbing fashion than the Bob-B-Q scene, and that's on network TV.

I don't think it's SUPPOSED to be the same church, I just think they used the same church for shooting.

T.D. mentioned that it was a newly constructed (for filming) church.

The Morgan stinger at the end of this season's premiere?

Those were circles with an "X" inside, the one by Bob looked like a straight horizontal line or an "L".

No joke. I found the Bob scene more humorous than gross. Not that I found it funny, just in a "holy shit" sort of way. Hannibal goes way beyond that on a almost weekly basis. The elegance in which it's done on Hannibal really makes it even worse.

Anyway, a pretty solid episode. I didn't think it was anywhere near as good as the season premiere, which I thought was one of the best. Although they were way too obvious with their foreshadowing that something very bad was going to happen with Bob.

Where the fuck is Morgan already? I was hoping he'd meet up with them this episode after the teaser.

Yup, Hannibal is much worse when you consider how many people have been served without their knowledge. Or essentially force fed their own flesh. At least they were not making Bob eat his own shish kabobs.

I did like how they give a little bit more story about the Hunters than what was in the comic. Nine times out of ten I like the comic story line over the TV show, still a fan of both but I like how the show has handled the Terminus folks and given a little background on them vs. the quick arc in the comics.

Anyone who has read the comics knows exactly what is going on with Bob and mysterious Gabriel(the carved note on the wall). TV viewers haven't got a clue.

Maybe the virus they are all infected with accelerates healing of non-walker wounds, Wolverine-style? ;)

Another good episode, although less action than last week. Real stupid for them to jump into the water. Why not pick off the walkers in the water from up above BEFORE you wade down into the zombie soup? It seemed like Bob was favoring his right arm after he got pulled under. My group all thought he was bit on the right arm, as he seems to not use it after that. In the church specifically, he reaches across his body with his left hand to do something.

Yeah I noticed the circled Xs, but nobody seemed to mention the " horizontal L". They didnt explain what it meant right?

Somebody compared the signs from when Rick wrote it and when Morgan encountered it. The sign was more faded and overgrown when Morgan was there, leading people to believe that he doesn't show up until a little while later.

I think all Rick wrote was "No sanctuary". I dont think he had anything to do with the symbol, I think it was already there.

It's never been addressed.

Comic Spoiler:

Spoiler:
It wasn't even really address in the comic either, from what i remember. Dale laughed like a madman at the people eating his leg, and they freaked out, but then Rick & Co. saved the day and killed everyone before we saw the effects of eating tainted meat.

it's been a while since i read it, though, so my memory could be off.
