CBS needed a timeslot for CSI Cyber in order for that show to air everything before the season ends. That's why they chose to use Stalker's slot. I heard there are 3 episodes left. I'm sure they will air before the season is over. Timeslots are a tough commodity, especially midseason.

Re: Stalker (CBS) - Series Thread

I would love to see those last three episodes, but it's pretty clear where they are headed. Ending the current story line involving Beth's past (stalker dead or jailed) and then moving on with a straight procedural. And putting the two leads together romantically. But that's if it's renewed, which I doubt will happen.

I noticed it popped back up on my DVR schedule. I thought it was confirmed as cancelled, but I am glad they are at least showing the last episodes. It was just starting to get good with everybody now in on Beth's past.

Not yet confirmed, just widely believed to be likely to be canceled.

Here's an interview with Kevin Williamson, Stalker's showrunner, about last night's episode and the show's future.

He's "cautiously optimistic" about the show's chances of coming back.

The ratings were actually up 17% last night

CBS IMO should cancel CSI Cyber and bring this one back. Cyber's ratings have been disappointing and have gone down with each episode.

Re: Stalker (CBS) - Series Thread

For anyone who cares tonight is the series finale.

CBS cancelled this last week.

A SEARCH FOR AN ELUSIVE SERIAL KILLER LEADS THE TAU TO A SHOCKING REVELATION, ON THE SUSPENSEFUL FIRST SEASON FINALE OF "STALKER," MONDAY, MAY 18

"Love Kills" - A search for an elusive serial killer leads the TAU to a shocking revelation. Also, Vicky learns some startling information about her ex-husband, on the suspenseful first season finale of STALKER Monday, May 18 (9:00-9:59 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

REGULAR CAST:

Maggie Q (Lieutenant Beth Davis)
Dylan McDermott (Detective Jack Larsen)
Victor Rasuk (Detective Ben Caldwell)
Mariana Klaveno (Detective Janice Lawrence)
Elisabeth Rohm (Amanda Taylor)
RECURRING CAST:

Warren Kole (Trent)
Mira Sorvino (Vicky Gregg)
GUEST CAST:

Kristoffer Polaha (Nathan)
Billy Malone (Stan)
Adam Kaufman (Will)
Michael Cassidy (Brian)
Katerina Graham (Christine)
Jessica Camacho (Eva)
Sam Witwer (Jamie)
Dar Dixon (Lawyer)
Anthony Giangrande (Charlie)
Steve Humphreys (Tattoo Artist)
WRITTEN BY: Kevin Williamson and Dewayne Jones

DIRECTED BY: Liz Friedlander

2 Kevin Williamson shows cancelled in the same season and ending on the same night. How about that. I hope he gets another chance to develop another series. I've always liked his work. Maybe the networks weren't the right people for his work to be showcased on.

Re: Stalker (CBS) - Series Thread

Of course, end with an unresolved cliffhanger. They need all shows to now film two endings per season to prepare for things like this.
