Well, seems no one here was watching Utopia in the past month. Anyway FOX has canceled it. It sounds like the feeds have already been shut off.

No worries, they still have Glee!

Most expected them to keep it on the air for a few more weeks, but the show had gotten terrible. The producers' hearts did not seem in it from the beginning, this type of show was going to need tons of gimmicks to cause drama.

It's strange they cut the feeds before they told these idiots the show was cancelled. Now THAT'S conversation I would have wanted to watch.

It would be great to see any TV cast getting told they've been canceled. I wonder if such video exists for any show.

Not quite the same thing, but there was an 80s sitcom called "I Married Dora" that literally had the series end with the characters suddenly breaking character and announcing the show had been cancelled. The cast then waved goodbye and whatever plot was going on in the episode was never resolved.

Yeah, I was actually thinking of the "I Married Dora" thing. I saw it when it first aired and just saw it online recently after Elizabeth Pena died.

I hope Fox doesn't tell these people anything and they stay out there for a year thinking the show is still on.

Then they could air a final clip show of the them sitting around talking about how much America cares about them.

The good news is that Dedeker can now get back to her career in polyamory.

One of my colleagues worked on the show. I worked with him on another job yesterday when he got the call the show was canned. He said they shut down everything as of Sunday afternoon. But I'm not sure if they captured the participants on camera hearing the news before the shutdown.

He knew the show was probably doomed, but he was hoping they would keep it around.
