Falling Skies (S4E10) -- "Drawing Straws" -- 8/24/14
"Drawing Straws" - Sunday, Aug. 24, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT)- TV-14-LV
Tom and the remnants of the 2nd Mass learn to pilot a Beamer as part of their plan to destroy the Espheni Power Core, and the group draws straws to see who will embark on the dangerous mission. The threat of death hanging over everyone triggers long-simmering confrontations between many of our main characters, ultimately bringing the 2nd Mass closer together. Treva Etienne guest-stars.

Not much to say, except Matt is the new Carl.
And, that I wish they could've finished this up this season.
Also, Tom manages to fix the draw? Seriously? Why would they let anyone with an interest in going, actually draw the names?
I hate myself for watching now. Next season I'll have to feel worse about it.

Use the Force, Lexi. The other plot felt like the writers had just watched Independence Day.

I'm going to agree that drawing names out a hat is silly in that it could have at least been a hat full of names of those best suited for the job.

This has become the biggest chore to watch through an entire episode. I completely skip any scene with certain characters. The writing is so mediocre this season, I have to believe some of the dialogue and plot is made up as they film.
