Top Chef Duels

I had given up on Top Chef , hadn't watched the last few seasons

But i checked out the first episode of Top Chef Duels, really liked it

It helps having competitors like Marcel and Richard who we are all familiar with

Anyway i will continue to watch this season

I still haven't found the time to check out the first episode but when this was announced, I loved the concept and looking at the lineup for the chefs facing off, I'm in for the season without a doubt.

I felt Mike should have gotten the nod over Antonia

I think the judges knew if Antonia lost to Mike again it would crush her

I suspect Antonia deserved it, I got the feeling that her food tasted better and had better presentation but Mike embraced the challenge.

I am really enjoying the show so far. Was surprised to see that Richard Blais upscale restaurant is in San Diego will have to check that out.

Yeah it seems many Top Chef alumni are killing it opening restaurants. Shows that marketing is a huge part of the puzzle

I am sure everyone that watches these shows wishes they could taste a lot of the foods and have their favorites so their restaurants have a built in audience from the beginning.
