I watched the Pilot but then never came back. It wasn't bad, it just didn't grab me at the time. Is it worth going back to watch? It seems as if the rare comment on here seems to be fairly positive ...

I liked the show. Too few episodes though. Looks like they pared the cast down, what with William in exile and the doc being dead.

It's an excellent show with a complete story arc over the season. Dominion seems to have gotten lost on SyFy's schedule, my impression is that few people checked it out. The advertising probably didn't help, the occasionally cheesy flying CGI was prominently featured in them.

The season-long plot is rather intricate for a fantasy/adventure series. Its weak link is probably the actor for Gabriel, he's wildly over the top with his delivery in the first couple of episodes. This is a safe watch for those people hoarding the season on their DVRs, it's a cut above most summer fare. The very attractive female cast doesn't hurt, either. Roxanne McKee is very good at disguising her British accent.

I would like to see it back, though that finale is a pretty big game-changer for the story.

Just finished the season finale

Thought it was a really solid ending to this super abbreviated season.

I'm thinking that Syfy only greenlit 8 episodes because they wanted to be conservative due to the high risk about this show's concept. Legion wasn't exactly a box office smash, but they must have really liked the pitch and story arc presented by this show's creators using Legion as a blue print.

Anyways, as Phantom just said, huge game-changing episode. Some deaths, including one of the principal characters. Also, Gabriel lost his mind this episode. I'm not sure where the direction of that character is heading.

Judging by the ending, It looks like Alex chose to fully embrace his destiny as the chosen one. If this show doesn't return, I think these episodes worked pretty well as a self contained season.


-eek- Pretty graphic lesbian sex scene too. It was really pushing the R rated boundary.

I'm still not sure I understand what they were doing with Anthony Head's character. They played it like he had been brainwashed and was now a true believer in Gabriel.

He was going along until he could find a way out, which he did.

I'm surprised how much I enjoyed this series especially since I didn't like the movie. It was too short of a season. Just as the show found it's footing with its backstories and mythology it was over. If it comes back it will probably be almost a year away like Defiance.

The season was short but my guess is that this series was originally fashioned as a mini-series and they decided to expand it. For some reason I had thought there were 13 episodes.

The way Syfy treated this series, I had not expected a renewal despite its very solid run. It just got renewed for another season.
