Good Girls Revolt, which Amazon cancelled, is 100% dead.

The studio could not find a new home.

If you liked the Esquire Network, kiss it goodbye. It's shutting down the cable channel and becoming a digital-only platform.

I only ever watched it for the Japanese Ninja Warrior episodes. So the legacy of the G4 network is officially dead.

TV Line reports that "So You Think You Can Dance" has been renewed for another season this summer. Fans of the show will probably appreciate the news that the show, -after doing a "Street vs. Stage" season and a "Juniors/Kids" season, -is going back to its original formula. Paula Abdul will be unavailable to co-host this summer, and Cat Deeley is "in talks" to host (but I'll be shocked if she's not part of it).

They are dropping one staple of the show, -they will no longer be travelling to various cities for auditions (which could be a time factor issue as well as budget, since this was a late renewal). Potential contestants can upload now video auditions and they may be invited for in-person auditions in New York or L.A. in March.

The Good Place was renewed (as reported in its own thread) for a second season as well. I was authentically worried about that one.

Not that anyone here watched it, but Entertainment Tonight's spinoff series "The Insider" was cancelled after 13 seasons.

 That's one less tabloid-ish Entertainment news show on the air.

I did catch some of it on occasion. If I sat own for TV before 8:00 that was usually what I would put on for however long until the 8:00 hour. Most of the content of those shows are on the internet within minutes of it happening so the only advantage to watching is to see what hot chicks show up.

Shame. The music of my youth... lots of good memories. I recall those times fondly, though I doubt many here were even born yet.

Not worth a pointless bump for an old American Idol thread that no one will read.

But, NBC is in talks to possibly revive American Idol. May air with The Voice in the same season.

I'm going to assume NBC doesn't believe in series fatigue.

Grey's, Scandal and How to get Away With Murder were all renewed. Seasons 14, 7 and 4 respectively.

I sent a tweet to Greg Yaitanes, the showrunner of Quarry, and asked him about it's status.

Here was his reply:

I'm going to safely assume it's cancelled.

Doubt on CBS cancelled after 2 episodes. Didn't even want to waste my time with it and knew no one would watch it here. So didn't even bother making a thread.

Not worth bumping the thread which had so little activity,

SyFy cancels Incorporated after 1 season

I have six episodes saved on the DVR. Anyone think it is worth finishing with this news? I did like the cast.

I liked the show. Did end on a bit of a cliffhanger though.

I liked Incorporated too. It was better than most of the SyFi drivel.
