Supposedly Continuum's 4th season renewal is being held up by money.
Showcase Canada and the production company that makes Continuum are trying to work out budget for season 4. Simon Barry, the creator of the show, will not address the budget issues.
Here's a blurb about it for the news of the BD release of season 3.
This will be a great last-minute Christmas present for fans who are on the edge of their seats waiting for the fourth season's financing to be worked out between the show's production studio and Showcase, the Canadian broadcasters (that's the hold-up for renewal, in case you haven't heard).

Not really a surprise since the ratings were really bad, but Lifetime canceled "The Lottery"
"Witches of East End" is in limbo. Ratings dropped in season 2. But no decision has been made yet.

Reign is looking more and more on the bubble for renewal next season. The ratings have slumped in a key slot, it wouldn't surprise me if it gets bumped to Friday nights.

The Bridge was a good one-season show. The second season was a bit more contrived and muddled. There are only so many reasons to get those characters together and it would only get more contrived.

I don't want to bump the CSI thread, so I'll post it here. TV Line reported tonight that CSI's season 15 episode order was cut to 18. It was a given since CBS needs to make room for CSI Cyber since it has 13 episodes that need to air. Expect CSI's possible series finale to air around late February or Early March.

That is terrible news. I still have the final three episodes on my DVR. I really thought it would find an audience, it's the first thing on Lifetime that I've ever seriously paid attention.

Re: The One and Only TV FAQ Thread Plus Cancellations and Renewal News
This news is a little old, but worth mentioning
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/new...-new-us-729770
Saving Hope, the Canadian show starring Erica Durance from Smallville, has found a new U.S. TV home. ion acquired the rights to seasons 1-3.
In today's news, CTV ordered an 18 episode 4th season.
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/new...redirect=false
I was kind of hoping that Durance would get off that series so she can audition and hopefully get on a U.S. Series. I know she's Canadian and playing the safe route sticking with a stable gig in her country since the chances of landing on a successful new U.S. Series is slim.
