Russ (Nat Faxon) and Lina Bowman (Judy Greer) can barely remember what life was like before kids, debt, and suburbia rained on their romance -- but every once in a while, in between the arguments about their declining sex life and who's driving carpool, they are reminded what drew them together in the first place -- they're best friends. Married was created by Andrew Gurland (The Virginity Hit, Mail Order Wife), who wrote and directed the pilot script and serves as Executive Producer/Showrunner, alongside Executive Producers Paul Young and Peter Principato. The series is produced by FX Productions. FX has ordered 10 episodes of Married for its first season to air Thursday nights at 10 PM ET/PT. I'm still kind of confused why this and You're The Worst aren't on FXX. I know FXX still doesn't have much exposure... But wasn't the whole point of creating that channel to brand it as the comedy side of FX? And FX was going to focus solely on drama.

FX is intended to be the launching platform now that FXX is the Always Sunny Simpsons channel.

i love Nat Faxon for some reason. i think it's the teeth. still miss Ben & Kate or that FOX show that didn't last...and he is an Oscar winner to boot!

Looking forward to this. My wife watched Ben & Kate and was disappointed when it was cancelled and I have a crush on Judy Greer so we both win!

Never been a fan of Nat Faxon but I love Judy Greer.
Plus I like jenny Slate and Brett Gelman too so I'll be checking this one out as well. |

As a married man, this show hit home all too well. :lol:
I found it pretty funny. Some good lines in it. I'll continue to watch. The best part was the framed sonogram picture in that chicks house. rotfl |

Really enjoyed this... much more than I had expected to. It managed to be edgy and 'wrong' without making the characters unlikable assholes.

I've disliked Faxon in other things, but I liked the pilot here even if it wasn't laugh out loud funny to me.

Don't know that I've ever cared what network a show is broadcast on or about any networks choices for what shows they air. That's all.
Currently, they don't have much going on. They have Wilfred... and a bunch of reruns. They don't really have an identity. Legit was cancelled... I'm surprised they haven't moved Archer over to it yet. All I'm saying is I don't understand why they created the channel, moved their flagship comedies to the other station, and aren't creating any new content on that "comedy" channel. I guess they are just going to stick with being eventual The Simpsons network... |
