Maybe, but you should be happy people are still tuning in given the ratings

This was easily the most boring, unproductive episode of the series. This isn't a sitcom, but I don't know what else to classify it as.

Judy Greer's friend was smoking hot, though.

I dunno. I actually liked this episode. The rehab stuff was boring as fuck and kind of whatever, but the halloween stuff and the chemistry of Judy Greer's marriage sort of was nice. And it did have a bit of pay out for a change.

More of the same for me, i'm disappointed that Greer and her friend didn't lead where I hoped it would

It turns out watching 30 something relationships is more entertaining than watching late 30s - 40 something relationship. I think FX got their show orders backwards.

I thought this was the best episode of the series - yes, I know that's not saying much.

This was the only episode that didn't leave me dangling - ie. set-up with no payoff. There was no real set-up because it wasn't written as a joke - it was more of an honest story. This is how the show works best IMO.

Jenny Slate's got a smokin' little body.

I agree with you on that. This one didn't have a build up to nothing because it didn't build up, it just planted the seeds of everything. From the halloween costume to the no more trick or treating and the distance between the two to the end where they seemed like despite that disconnect, there's some moments there.

Mind you, this was indeed the best episode for me, but that's not saying much since this show is pretty bad.

While not particularly funny, I liked everyone letting everything out at the rehab place, and the end with everyone talking about their deaths was kind of nice.

^ Agreed. I thought the finale was one of the better episodes. I may have enjoyed this show more than most here - while not consistently funny, I always seemed to look forward to it. I'd watch another season if it gets renewed.

Another good episode. Once again, no set-up leading to an absent payoff.

I still find the two lead characters to be annoying whiny entitled people.

Watched all 10 episodes although I'm not sure why. If I wanted to experience a crappy marriage, I wouldn't have gotten divorced.

This show just didn't deliver. I watched the whole season but even if its renewed I won't be back. The main character is just too much of a puss and most of the cast is just unlikable. Probably my biggest disappointment this year TV wise.

I just hated Reiser and Jenny Slate's characters here. Watched it for Greer, and I don't think she's found the right lead role yet.

Opposite. I think Reiser and Slate's characters are way better then the main two.

I'm blown away by how much I like Reiser in this considering I don't think I've ever liked anything he's ever done. And Slate is a pistol.
