This season was filmed during that brutal polar vortex winter. No new people, but unfortunately, Hugh is back.

All drivers from season 7 return to Manitoba except for Joey Barnes. But at least Lisa Kelly is back. Once again it's all about Polar and VP Express fighting with each other. Darrell, Art, Todd and Lisa are with Polar. Sadly, Alex Debagorski is working for VP Express, Hugh's company. Alex deserves better than that.

Those roads look absolutely nasty and insane. I don't know why the Canadian government doesn't tell those people living out in the middle of nowhere to move closer to civilization because we're not risking lives to send you supplies any more.
