Maybe I'm the only one, but does anyone else think of Seth Galifianakis every time Donny speaks?

OK, I need some BB die-hards to help me understand some things...
First off, the person who I liked most from Day 1 is gone...what in the world happened? My DVR didn't record the eviction night episode, so while I understand that the house had it in for her because she tried to start an all-girl alliance, I don't know if anything beyond that occurred on eviction night? Was anything else shown with Joey?
On top of that, can someone explain why they, and Julie, seemed to refer to her as "Alex?"
Second, what's the deal with Caleb? Fans were so upset with this guy over the racist and homophobic stuff he said on Instagram...but he's getting a great edit. Is he just being painted as a fan favorite by editors? Or does he appear to be a decent guy in the feeds?
And then lastly, what was up with tonight's episode where Caleb was saying he like....needed to be cuddled....and then The Rock is sitting there and is like "I'll cuddle with you dude." I kept waiting for them to bust out laughing but then Caleb starts tearing up because....I gets he needs to be held by...someone and is missing intimacy or something?
And then, Zach says he's not gay, but he's spooning a gay guy and eagerly wants to get a rub down by Frankie....I mean, both of these dynamics were just so bizarre to me.

Zach is either in the closet or more than likely just really comfortable with his sexuality.

Yeah, lot of bromance on this season LOL.
The editors did a great job with the cliffhanger last night. No way I'll miss tonight's episode. Man, they sure make Devin appear all over the place.
Does Pau Pau remind anyone else of this character from SNL?

Re: Big Brother 16 -- now in HD! Premieres 6/25/2014
I actually paid attention a little last weekend, and the edit on this week's shows was a little flawed. First, Devin's big meeting to apologize to Donny happened before Joey left. That's why there was never a full shot at the couch. There was never any doubt who Devin's target was. It was Brittany. If the noms had stayed the same, she would have stayed though as the mutiny was going to happen.
Caleb started talking to Devin which led to that whole stupid "Bomb Squad" meeting while the HGs were downstairs in the kitchen wondering what was going on upstairs and why were they excluded. Zach did open his mouth, but he wasn't going to get nominated after Devin won veto. It was going to be Victoria. Of course, Brittany was so repulsed by her meeting with Devin that night that she was determined to turn down the veto if he offered it to her and take her chances with the vote. Derrick talked her out of that.
The person most directly responsible for swaying Devin into nominating Zach was Frankie. The show did put any of that on TV, but he was laying it on thick to get Zach up and out. He's a weasel. Thankfully, Cody and Co know this so. That's why Zach put him on "blast" after the veto meeting.
After veto, Zach told Hayden about the BS before Devin's little recruitment meeting, which was an even bigger disaster than was on the show. In spite of Frankie's campaigning, the tide turned toward Zach so much so that Devin completely blew up the BS. I kinda stopped paying attention at that point.
I do know that Donny was going to vote Pau out until he knew for certain Zach was safe. After that he wanted to throw her a vote.
Oh, and unless it changed in the last day or two (an eternity in Devin world), Devin now has a major crush on Brittany after there long talk last Saturday. He admitted his feelings to her.
And here's Brittany playing pool. (link not entirely safe for work)

Between "Beastmode Cowboy" and his open shirts on the live show I don't think Caleb could be a bigger douchebag.

This is the lamest, pussiest, least game changing house I've ever seen. No one has any fucking balls! Not even a throwaway vote here or there. They're all so fucking scared! Idiots, everyone in the house. And now I really hate Christine who I thought would play a strong game. She's just a doormat to an alliance that she'll get rolled over by. Idiot.

I was a little amused by Wednesday's episode when Cody firmly decided he needed to put up Caleb, and Frankie was exasperated that he had to fix it. Fix it apparently entailed waking up Derrick to fix it.
I mentioned it in the other thread, but Grodner cancelled some of the tension this season when she forced Derrick to team with Frankie for this whole "Team America" nonsense. They didn't trust each other and were very much on the path towards a game confrontation the week Zach was nominated.

I'll miss Brittany just because she seemed like one of the few female players that gets the game. I can't imagine how hard it was for her to leave her kids though. Sad to see her go.

Re: Big Brother 16 -- now in HD! Premieres 6/25/2014
OK, we're unclear on the whole veto process this season... Are the two HGs who win the BoB comp eligible as replacement noms in the event that the veto is used? Same question for the HoH whose noms win the BoB, and thus is no longer HoH at the time of the veto comp. They way the replacement discussions have gone prior to the last couple of veto meetings (or at least this last time), it sure sounds like there was never any consideration given to putting Jocasta up as the replacement nom when Victoria took herself off, making us think that Jocasta and Amber had immunity stemming from their BoB win.

So Frankie gets a whole segment about the death of his grandfather but they don't show anything about the death of Derrick's grandfather? Unless they cover it on Wednesday...

I'm not sure as I don't watch the LIVE feeds but I think Derrick hasn't found out yet that his grandfather has passed - when it comes to the way its being shown on TV. The HOH Nomination Ceremony and the Battle Of The Block Competition were held on Friday morning/afternoon and I read somewhere that Derrick found out about his Grandfather sometime Friday night. Since Sundays episode ended with the Battle Of The Block competition, Derrick doesn't know his grandfather has passed yet. We will probably get a segment on Wednesdays show.

I imagine they will mention Derrick's Grandfather on Wed or Thurs show. This Sunday the house guests had a memorial service for both Frankie's and Derrick's Grandfathers.
