Really...another mole. They need to improve their hiring practices.

And how patched in is he really, if he walked right into an ambush the last episode. This happens all the time with the 24 moles where they're in a situation where they can easily be killed and have no idea of the situation, but then again a lot of the moles are low level in the scheme of the big operation.

Since we've gotten the mole out of the way, I'm waiting for the CTU/CIA employee who has a pressing family matter that absolutely positively has to be solved right now. Maybe Partlow has a druggie sister or something.

During the whole Tate Donavan/Russian scene all I kept thinking is that he should say, "things are real crazy right I'll give you a call tomorrow"

Wow, there was a mole in the agency? Never saw that one coming.
Poor Hot Sansa gets the Mean Girls treatment. Ouch. Kate's torture was kind of intense until it became clear that they were going to continue to threaten her until they were stopped by MI6.

Something that should have occurred to me last week, but just did now. Poor dumb Nabeed and Cat Stark spent months elaborately framing the US drone pilot/Star Wars VII guy as the perfectly profiled patsy - only to announce that they were in control of the drones and were planning on using them to strike civilians in London a mere 2-3 hours later. Why exactly?

Classic 24. Loved it. Great action and great subplots.

24 isn't 24 without a mole. Too bad it's Navarro.

I thought it was going to be predictable with MI-5 saving the day (eh, hour) at the end. Didn't expect them to knock out the Serbian and blow the whole thing.

In the earlier episodes, I wasn't buying Kate Morgan as being up the par with Renee Walker. But she showcased some badass skills this hour.

I didn't get that he was a mole for Margot, but rather a mole for some other party that hasn't been introduced yet, ones that stole the state secrets and framed Morgan's husband for it, apparently.

Yes! We got a mole! It's 24!

Damnit!

At least now we know that Chuck isn't a traitor.

Fuck this mole bullshit. Ugh. I thought with a shorter season that we could do away with this stupid mole subplot.

 I thought it was a solid episode. I agree with MLBFan24, 24 isn't 24 without a mole or traitor. Plus, it was a David Fury episode and he always brings it IMO. :D Sucks that it had to be Navarro.

But when you think about it, he was pushing really hard to get Kate out of that office in the 1st few episodes. I also think like Slop that he's working for the people who framed her husband and probably was placed there to keep an eye on her.

Yvonne really kicked ass in this episode. She really sold the torture scene and damn, I loved her physicality in the fight scene, stabbing and then the shootout. I think she really sold herself as being a badass female agent.

Glad we got some Bauer kills. I can't remember, did he kill anyone prior to this episode? I don't think he killed anyone in episodes 3-5.

What are you guys griping about? This was the BEST 24 episode of the new series, with all the fun we remember about the show. Torture, gunfights, getting hit with a double decker bus. ;)

Plus, how can you not love Kate going all Xenia Onatopp on that bad guy?!

This is how I felt about the torture scene. HUGE -rolleyes-, as well as the head of CTU planting evidence against an agent's spouse. Maybe there's more to it, but seriously... They get their big 24 comeback, and go with another mole? Sheesh.

It doesn't sound like he's a mole with the terrorist. Sounds more like they did something internal to get Kate's husband framed for whatever he was charged for. He's now worried about getting that exposed. So, still kinda a mole but not in the same sense.

When I saw the hook, I thought to myself... they are going to change the cuffs so they're in front of her when she hangs right? Apparently not! Damn that looked painful. But Yvonne looked oh so good. I love how she injected herself with propofol and the look on Jack's face that she did it herself. Badass. Great character.

Is that even possible, hanging like that without breaking something? Either way, nuts!

I haven't really kept up with the threads, just wanted to enjoy 24, but had to finally chime in. 24 hasn't skipped a beat. Love this show.

While it may seem cliche to have a mole on 24, I wonder how rampant it is in our real life government agencies. There are probably some Chinese, Russian, and other spies within our agencies. I wouldn't be surprised if there are a lot out there.

The Robert Hanssen case still amazes me today

You wouldn't break anything but your shoulders would get dislocated pretty damn quick, depending on how heavy you are.

24 ratings were up last night:

@FOXTV: #24LAD jumped +20% in the core demo last night and drew 6.2 mil viewers (a +9% lift).

Nope, can't do it. I'm out. I thought I was wiling to give the show another chance since I did love it the first 5 seasons, but it still sucks ass like it did when it ended. Not even the shorter format is making it better. Bah!

But this is 24. You know, a world where you can have your finger chopped off with a chisel, but still enjoy luncheon with your sister-in-law two hours later.

They wanted to test the device to make sure that it works. Framing the guy will divert attention away from it being a terrorist action and keep the drones in the air and running long enough for them to take control of all of them.
