Wonder if they'll wrap up the drone threat in the next couple episodes. One thing I remember about this show is how everything that seemed so dire in the early hours of the day were completely forgotten by the later hours. Like when the nuke goes off in LA around hour 5, and by hour 15 it's completely forgotten about because so much new shit is going on.

Or, the threat of the early episodes is just a diversion for the REAL evil scheme, which we'll find about later.

I really enjoyed the episode but was unimpressed when the finger got chopped. You knew something bad was gonna happen to the daughter (since she's not needed to pilot the drone) so it was just a matter of what. Everything else was great.
That said, I did laugh at how quickly the progress bar suddenly moved (3% to 56%).

Thanks!

That can't be the last season I saw, though. I was sure I had seen all seasons except the last one but I could never get past the season with the kid. So I'm 3 + current seasons behind? Yeech.

When 24 first started, scenes like that were cutting edge, "holy shit" moments. Now they're expected and common.

I had expected the mom to just kill her daughter. Love how long it took the army to breach the door after Heller gave the ok. I kept wondering why Jack didn't just scream at them saying he's placing the hostages right behind the door.
Refresh me, what was the document that Bodreau forges Heller's signature? I'm sure it comes back to bite Heller in the ass after that speech.

He didn't need to scream, he had a phone. The reason he didn't bother to do this is because the hostages were no longer a priority -- they were collateral damage. The goal at this point was to stop jack from releasing what they thought was very sensitive information that would cost even more lives. That's what Audrey's husband was selling, and the president bought it.

I heard this season was supposed to cover two hours each episode instead of one???
Maybe the jump will happen if they stick Jack in Solitary Confinement?

Not sure why everything thinks it's going to cover 24 hours. Yes, it's 24 hour real time, but we're only getting 12 episodes folks. Did the producers say it would cover a 24 hour period?

^^Well, they did Redemption, which was only 2 hours.
I think this should just be 12 straight hours out of a given 24. Simple. I think a time jump is going to be very weird for the audience, especially since this is a show that has always begun a new episode immediately where it last ended the week before.
