Is this the penultimate episode of the season? I thought it was a 13 episode run, but I'm not sure.
Also did this get picked up for another season? I assume so, but I'd like to be certain.

Season Finale is next week (5/21) and it was renewed for a 3rd season about a month ago.

Really? No post-airing comments? Man the heat for this show has died down (especially in light of Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Fargo and 24 all airing at the same three-day period as well).
Anyway, I liked this episode. Full of dread. Very little happened, but it's setting up the dominoes nicely for the finale. Seriously I have no idea what's going to happen in the Nina/Stan storyline or with Larrick and that kid. I did like watching his dogged pursuit of him. I hope everything works out, but man, I'm not so sure...
Also thought that the Oleg/Nina scene and the Stan?Sandra scene were both so well written and well acted. Heartbreaking.
I wonder about Paige's protest trip. It seems so inconsequential, but they spent so much time on it that I figure it's got to have a big part in the finale. Was Larrick also in Pennsylvania?

The Oleg/Stan/Nina triangle is probably my favorite plotline so far this year. For a moment there, I thought that scene in the room where Nina was beaten up was real. Then I realized that it was staged for Stan to turn. Anyone else find it kind of dumb that Stan would buy Nina such a nice car?
I did find the one scene where Martha was documenting how sloppy the FBI was in security pretty funny.
I think the Paige trip has to lead to something. I just don't know what that is.
To be honest, Sandra has been a wasted character. She never gets enough screen time to develop her character. It's a shame since I like the actress.

I think it went in a few too many directions this year, but will admit not sure how things will turn out. Not even sure what Ninas real feelings are. I think somehow at the protest Paige figures out what her parents are. Not sure how.

Oh, that's good. I hadn't thought of that. Let's think : that informant Fred was going to some sort of weapon site wearing special shoes to absorb minute amounts of stealth paint. Maybe she sees her dad (in hippie disguise) handling Fred there?

The pastor is going to hit on Paige and Philip finds out after she freaks out about it. Paige gets sucked into her parents' real occupation after getting disillusioned with the church.
It's an easier storyline to maintain if Paige eventually joins in on their mission, as opposed to her being in opposition to their true identities. That is really the only way to keep her around on a series that is supposed to run indefinitely.

I might have missed something because I record this show and watch it first thing in the morning before I'm fully awake.... Do we know who killed Emmet and Leanne? Are we supposed to assume it was Larrick? If we know who did, when did we find out?

Phillip told Elizabeth during this episode that "Whoever killed Kate probably killed Emmet and Leanne", but I thought we'd already ruled out Larrick as their killer?
edit : BTW : I didn't realize until I looked her up on IMDB that the actress who played Kate also played Richard's girlfriend Julia on Boardwalk Empire these past two seasons. She looks so different here.

Can't believe this season's already almost over. While it's been more a slow burn in some ways, this is still one of my favorite shows. I would've liked a little more story progress in this ep., but I'm guessing next week will be quite substantial...
