"Beginning of the End" was written by Maurissa Tancharoen & Jed Whedon and directed by David Straiton.

Moving to Tuesdays at 9pm this Fall.

Looking forward to seeing how it ends. Very strong second half of the season.

I guess a lot of you who bailed are either going to be streaming episodes this summer or anxiously awaiting the Blu-Ray release. :D

I heard we're also getting an Agent Carter series this fall. Nice that Ms. Atwell will be working and hopefully bounc...er thwarting evil. :D

My guess is if the ratings do not improve, then they will make the second half of season two a big build to Age of Ultron.

I really enjoy Coulson and Tripp together. Much rather him than Ward. Hopefully I haven't jinxed the rest of the show.

The next one is the Avengers sequel, and he's in it so...no, he's not done. He's probably not done with the TV show either.

I wonder if they'll try to get Chris Evans at some point next year or maybe SJ after she has the baby.

Wow. There were so many cool moments in this episode - I loved it.

"There's a reason why they say you've got to cut off the head!" Zapkerblooey!!! "I found it!" Pure awesomeness.

Agents of Shield goes into Season 2 as the new show from 2013/2014 that improved the most during the course of the season. The most improved show on TV went from utterly mediocre to awesome in about 15 episodes. Love it.

Can't wait for Season 2!

Pretty good finale, although I wish the show had the balls to either kill off Ward or Fitz. Still, I liked how the looped back to Mike Peterson and his son and showed how all of those guys were working based off "incentives." A lot of good moments too, like Sam Jackson's rescue, Ward getting nailed to the ground, the return of that gun from Avengers, Garrett getting finished off, and some good storylines for next season like Skye's origin and what is going on with Coulson with that injection that Garrett was doing too.

Very satisfying.

Thought the finale was disappointing after the build up of the past few episodes. But, it was still better than most of the episodes in the first half of the season. Best part of the episode were the scenes with Fitz and Simmons underwater.
