can't cope, won't cope - Netflix. The lead actress's life in this show is a hot mess, but the show is oddly highly watchable.

I did like that it was a one and done adaptation of Harlan Coben's book and I would say I enjoyed it more than Safe (another Harlan Coben Netflix show) which is also worth a watch.

Five episodes of Last Chance U.

Just as riveting, shocking, and heart-breaking as the first two seasons.

I enjoyed it overall, though I did feel that it kind of meandered too much in the middle episodes, especially considering that
Spoiler:
pretty much every lead they followed was a red herring. The ultimate reveal of the mystery was clever, but still kind of felt a bit underwhelming, considering the other possibilities.

Still, there are some good character moments and the ending felt emotionally satisfying.

I have Safe on my watch list, I'll get around to it eventually.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

MASH - Hulu. Picked back up on my MASH watch and am now up to Season 5 episode 2 (Bug Out part 2).

Speaking of, one of the episodes I watched last night is the one where Hawkeye buys a bunch of garbage from Frank Burn's garbage auction and dumps it on the general who gets folks killed by going on dangerous recovery runs and something I have not noticed prior to watching in HD is how disgusting the garbage was when it splatted on the general in his jeep.

The garbage was all wet and slimy and just really gross to look at while it just mostly looked like a bunch of leafy greens in standard def.

I also continue to be amazed at some of the humor in this show that would get folks in an uproar if certain words/jokes made their way into a modern broadcast network comedy.

In one of the episodes I saw last night Colonel Potter makes a comment about an Italian sissy (I forget the context) and hoo boy...a certain segment of the population would be calling for boycotts of MASH if it were airing today.

Surprised I am already up to season 5 but also thrilled because shows come and go on HULU all the time (MASH was also on Netflix a few years back) so it most likely means I will complete my project of seeing every episode of Mash in HD before it is yanked from the airwaves again.

My wife and I are currently tearing through the second season of Mercy Street, something I'm pretty sure no one else here can claim.

I've watched almost all of this now, and love it. Some very disturbing concepts, I have to say. My wife stopped watching it because of that.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

I just finished up my rewatch of Arrested Development Season 4 before finally starting season 5. I remember it being disappointed but this rewatch has shown me no it's just flat out bad. Occasionally their will be a funny character moment but pretty much every storyline and plot point is a clunker.

I've also been following along with the Giant Bomb podcast and watching through Dragon Ball Z Kai and I just finished episode 98 (the end of the Cell Saga). I had previously only watched the real early stuff back when it was on Toonami and I'm surprised how much I've enjoyed it. The fights still drag sometimes even in this condensed Kai version but the characters and goofiness keep me entertained.

I finished season seven of The Great Food Truck Race and started season eight. I also watched the first three episodes of Barry and I really enjoyed it. I'm planning on watching some more Barry episodes tonight. It's a very unique show.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

I finished the last half of Chicago PD's 5th season over the last couple of days.

Killed off one of the principal characters who's been with the show since day 1.

The show doesn't get any chatter here I think being that it's a network cop show, but it's a decent watch and does have some dark grittiness to it.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Heartland - Netflix. Jiminy Cricket I watched the entirety of Season 10 over the course of 4 days, 4 eps last Thursday, a few eps on Friday with a pause to watch Like Father (which was okay at best), 8(!) episodes on Saturday, and the final 3 on Sunday. Yeah, I am a fan of the show.

Also, I told myself that if felt like I watched Netflix all day on Saturday because it turns out I did watch Netflix all day on Saturday.

But wait, that's not all...I also watched quite a few episodes of Mash on Hulu and I am now I believe on at least episode 3 or 4 of Season 6.

I did have a chance to do other stuff, such as cook a Blue Apron pizza kit which took a solid 2 hours and some other general tidy up stuff I do on the weekends, but the tv watching bug clearly bit me hard this weekend.

I finished Kim's Convenience on NF a couple of weeks ago. Really worth a watch if you like Fresh of the Boat.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Just wrapped up season 3 of Fear the Walking Dead. I don't know why so many people hate on this show. I really love the characters and find the viewpoint of the fallen world from Mexico to be really interesting. I wish they would make more spinoffs showing how everything went to hell in other parts of the world.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

BrainDead: Season 1 - Episodes 6-13 - Finally finished this since I had extra time. Very happy there was no unnecessary cliffhanger.

American Gothic (2016): Season 1 - Episodes 4-13 -Another one I started two summers ago. Nothing special but entertaining enough to finish.

Vida: Season 1 - Great, short season! Will tune is for Season 2

The Detour: Season 3 - One of the most consistent comedies around

The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story - Started off very strong, but it became less compelling after the first few episodes. The acting was excellent all around, though.
