Re: Last Show You Binged?

Binging Season 2 of 'The Crown.' I am 4 episodes in and so far it's just as great as Season 1. I never cared about the Monarchy before, but this show is really compelling TV.

The End of the F***ing World - good show, though the ending left me a little unsatisfied. The male lead plays the 'socially awkward' role really well. If you like him in this and haven't seen his episode of Black Mirror, do yourself a favor and watch that. And watch all the rest of Black Mirror, too.

Is his episode a stand-alone episode? I do have Black Mirror on my list to watch, but have been holding off, as I'm not sure why I added it.

Every episode of Black Mirror is a stand-alone episode. It's an anthology series like The Twilight Zone.

Yeah, so much so its Emmy win last year was for Best TV Movie (for "San Junipero") despite being one of six episodes that season.

Really dig this show. Dark and nothing plot wise like the movie Legion that it's based on. I'm assuming that most here aren't watching it because it's based on a movie that mostly got crappy reviews.

This is already a more than good enough reason to watch Dominion

Almost done with the first season of Dominion.Damn looks like it only went two seasons.(2014–2015)I'll find out this week if it was cut short.

But agree, great show so far.And science fiction genre is one of my favorites.
Have to watch Legion again,do not remember much about it.

Five episodes of Local Knowledge, on Amazon Prime. Watched until the auto play didn't work on the season finale.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

More progress finishing Altered Carbon, should be done with episode 7 soon.

Man, that elevator fight in episode 5 was brutal but insanely awesome.

Money Heist aka Casa de Papel on Netflix. It's a 13-episode Spanish series -- it was fantastic. The episodes range between 40 - 60 minutes. Highly recommended.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

I finished off about 2 1/2 episodes of Hulu's Future Man last night to finish season 1. I liked it, but the show is insane. The episode where Wolf has diners kidnapped to heighten their senses as they indulge in his exotic high cuisine underground restaurant was great...the line where he basically says I love my partner because he would would kidnap anyone I asked with no questions was hilarious because he finds it cool that his partner would do that for him and also profoundly disturbing.

I look forward to season 2 and being all caught up means I can continue to work The Handmaid's Tale of which I have only seen the first episode.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

New season of Great British Bake Off on Netflix! Maybe the last one with the original presenters and judges. Probably not a big deal for most people, but after the trash Netflix has been putting out lately (Altered Carbon and Cloverfield specifically), this is much needed shot in the arm.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

I've never seen The Closer in it's original run and finished it last weekend. It took me a month to watch the whole series but I liked it more than Major Crimes.

Blindspot's current season. I fell behind almost 2 months and burned through all the episodes over the last 2 days.

Just curious what made you decide to finally watch it?

It's been off the air for about 6 years. Unless you got curious about all the background of the Major Crimes characters.

That impressive that you powered through 109 episodes in only 4 weeks.

Yeah, I wanted to know more about each character and they mentioned Brenda's name a few times in Major Crimes. I really had no idea why she left the team. Now, I wish she should of at least made a guest appearance in the final episodes because she was part of the Stroh story arc.

edit: I didn't realize it was 109 until you mentioned it. I looked up MC and they did 105 ep. in 6 seasons. I didn't know they were making more ep. per season than The Closer.
