Binged all of Season 4 for the whole week. It's starting to look like the stories are going nowhere and will end up being like Losts ending. I guess the writers wanna piss off a new generation of fans

Deciding what's next for me and my wife to binge.

Based on those two shows, I want to suggest AHS: Asylum for some reason.

I want to read the books first, which at my rate probably means the show will be done before I get to it.

I know it sounds strange, but if I know that a movie/tv show is coming out for a book, I try to read a book many months to at least a year before the movie/tv show is released, otherwise my brain can't help but compare/contrast my reading experience during my viewing experience, and becomes a distraction. But if I see a movie/show and then read the source material, I find I can enjoy the material and still appreciate the movie/tv show. My imagination is almost better than any adaptation that the film/tv version will almost always be a disappointment, thus better to get the adaptation out of the way, since watching a movie/tv show isn't nearly as immersive/engaging as reading a book. Only series like Harry Potter come to mind as being good both on screen and in print, for whatever reason.

First series of Moone Boy and Toast of London. Both were great but I think I heart Moone Boy more - "What do ya mean, the moon will make me bleed? I'll make the MOON bleed!"

My daughter is an avid reader and has the same complaint. Rarely is the movie as good as the book so she wants to separate the two by as many months as possible.

Thomas Harris' stuff fits this bill, too.

I am way behind in many shows.

Finally on the last disc of S4 Chuck, saw a couple last night.

Only one more Blindspot to be caught up

All caught up on Castle

Blacklist s3 is piling up on the DVR, but there are still a bunch from s2 I haven't seen yet.

Every Christmas vacation I watch Band Of Brothers but I'm thinking I don't have the time this year.

Wow, Chuck is one of those shows that I watched for a while but that I totally forget exists. It's crazy to me that show is almost 10 years old.

Just watched all of Happy Valley s1. While not perfect, this show fits right alongside those other UK detective/cop shows that are just miserable viewing experiences. Don't know what it says about me that I dig these shows so much.
