Just finished all four seasons of Game of Thrones in about a week and half. Someone finally figured out what makes a great recipe for a successful series: gore, boobs, and a dwarf. How can you go wrong?

As far as everything else goes, it was slow in parts, and sometimes the scenes with all the Lannisters and council members being snippy with each other get old, but overall a pretty awesome show. Can't wait to find out what happens next season!

I'm currently breezing through The Shield. In Season 3 right now, but hope to be on Season 4 by tomorrow. I'm loving this show.

I know no one here watched it, so it's not worth me bumping up the super quiet thread that I posted, which no one will read anyways.

But, I did watch the entire season of State of Affairs. I just binged the last 5 episodes of the season tonight off the DVR. The show aired on NBC on Monday nights at 10pm for those here who never watched it or never heard of it. This show got a lot of promotion back in the Fall.

For the record, the ratings were terrible. Never caught on. But, I did stick with it because I sort of like Katherine Heigl despite her reputation. And go figure, the season finale ended on a cliffhanger. A missile attack was about to happen on the Afghan village that Katherine Heigl's character Charlie was at.

 at how ridiculous the finale was. Charlie took on an Afghan village with a machine gun by herself.

I go to bed at 10 sop i don't watch anything at that time. I stopped getting involved in series right away. If they make the second season I'll binge the first. She's apparently a real bitch but nice to look at. I even like several of her rom-coms

I just binged The Fall. It's only two seasons, 11 episodes. If you are not familiar, it's a BBC Northern Ireland production. It's a drama about homicide detectives starring Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan (50 Shades). It was most excellent. Most excellent.

Bought and watched the first season of King of the Hill over a couple of days. Ordered the second through fifth seasons and will be working on getting through them.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

I spent Saturday and Sunday night (I started my binge around 10pm both nights) catching up on the last 8 episodes of The 100. A bleak show, but fantastic none the less (will they ever catch a break, they take out a dozen Mountain Men, and in return they get a missile shoved up their tailpipe, yikes!).

Although I really did like how they took out the Ice Queen bitch doctor (and at the same time, I thought this was a major plot blunder...why did she not inject herself with the kids' superblood, as I would think she would have put herself at the top of the list to get the cure).

Anyway, my next CW show binge will be Arrow, and then Jane The Virgin. I am thinking of giving up on The Originals, Supernatural, and The Vampire Diaries, as I have a 13+ episode backlog for Supernatural, nearly the same for The Originals, and I am also heading towards a double digit backlog of TVD.

I have so many other shows to catch up on, that these are on the bottom of my list.

Caught up with the last 4 episodes of Togetherness last night.

I like the show, but it's not a LOL funny comedy. It's actually more of a 30 minute dark dramedy.

Fell behind on Parks and Recreation. Off today from work and binging the last 8 episodes.

Watched all 10 episodes of season 1 in a day. Loved it, despite a few minor complaints. I can't wait for season 2 to start up.

Season 3 and 4 of Game of Thrones.

Noticed they just tell the story and just stop. No real cliffhanger or conclusion st the end of a season, any more so than the rest of the season.

Watching the last 8 episodes. I let the show build up on the DVR, but it doesn't mean I don't like it. I actually like this show a lot. Lisa Edelstein is great in it. Just haven't found the time to get through it with the other things I watch. But, I decided to catch up today.

Really surprised they film this show in Vancouver, but it takes place in Los Angeles.

I "discovered" Eastbound and Down this weekend. Half way through after two days. Great show.

I knew Jody Hill was involved. But I didn't know much about the show.

Californication Season 4 Episodes 4-12. I have a love hate relationship with the show. Hate Duchovney's character but love all the hot T & A :)

Almost caught up on 12 Monkeys. I fell behind and played catch up the past couple weeks. Solid show and I'm glad it got renewed. I think it's my one new show this season that I'm still watching or didn't get cancelled.

Episodes. I thought last season wasn't the greatest, but this season has been pretty great. Maybe the funniest so far.

I binged the first 5 of these on Sunday, but didn't actually watch the finale until last night. Great documentary...I'm a true crime junkie, and this thing was really well done.

If you have never seen Smallville, get off the train after season three. DC owns me lock, stock and barrel, but even I dropped seasons 4-6 of Smallville. It does become entertaining once again after season 6 when a certain character leaves the show and they switch focus.

hanshotfirst1138 03-17-15 11:05 PM

Geoff Johns came on in the later seasons and they did a little more comic book stuff, which was fun, I watched the episodes that he wrote.

Yeah, this was great. I would've watched them all in one night but, you know, sleep and stuff.

The Voice

The Last 6 episodes over the last 2 nights. 5 of the 6 were 2 hours each. Whoah that was a marathon. This is not the kind of show you want to binge watch. Competition shows, especially watching in such long clusters will wear you out. 3 hours + per night is very hard.

The show did get better when it brought him in as a consulting producer.

He moved away from the soap opera stuff and made it into an actual prequel.

I don't know if I'll be able to quit. My OCD about completing shows I start is pretty strong. I even finished Lost.

I might multitask a bit if it starts to stink, but I'm pretty sure I'll finish it in a year or two whether my wife sticks with me thru it or not.
