Just finished all six seasons of Bosch. I was watching while walking on a treadmill. Went through about three episodes per day, which is about 2 hours on the treadmill every day.

I finished my inaugural viewing of Battlestar Galactica recently. Initially, I was averaging 2-3 episodes a day and really enjoying it.

Then I got past the New Caprica storyline...and I found myself picking up the pace, averaging 3-4 episodes a day because I kept thinking, 'This is going to going get better, right?'

By the time I got to S4, I was powering through the show like crazy and finished the season in just over two days. There were a couple of bright spots in that final season, but TBH, I was super relieved when it was over. It wasn't satisfying...I was just glad to be done with what the series turned into.

I didn't know what hate binging was until now.

We just finished the last (S4) of the Master Class series. Was interesting see the competition clips from events past.

I haven't watched any of the Master Class series yet, but I probably will. Those have the two Baking Show/Bake-off judges doing their own bakes, yes?

Roswell: New Mexico Season Two - Netflix. I am on the 13th episode. Wow, this was a great season and the addition of Amber Midthunder (by the way, I love that last name) as Liz’s sister was a win...nice addition to the shows cast. I will need to check if it was renewed as I would definitely be down for a third season.

I finished Kingdom on Netflix. Not to be confused with The Last Kingdom, but the Korean zombie show set in the 1600's. It was pretty good, looks like their should be a 3rd season sometime in the future.

Dark: S3

It was a good conclusion to the show, but it skipped around among several characters and timelines way too much. Even paying full attention it was an obscene amount of stuff to take in.

Nightflyers - this was a scifi/horror series based on some stories by George R.R. Martin, that originally aired on Syfy. It was cancelled after one season. I watched it because I like the genre and I am a fan of Gretchen Mol. It wasn't worth it, at all. The first couple of episode showed promise, which is why I stayed with it, but it goes downhill pretty rapidly. Not one of these characters should have been able to pass a psych eval to travel in space. Every one of them goes mental at the drop of a hat. The story is a hodgepodge of tropes that feel like they've been thrown in just to cover all the bases.

That's more or less how I felt about the show.

Warrior Nun - Netflix. There are some mixed to harsh reviews out there for the show but ignore them as this series is great. The main actress and the woman who plays Shotgun Mary are well cast. This series is based on the Antarctic Press comic series Warrior Nun Areala (loosely based as I remember enjoying the series back in the day but the show seems to be doing a bit of its own thing).

Some of the locations this show was filmed at are gorgeous (for example, the country side in episode 6 is as much of a character on the show as Ava and Shotgun Mary (who I am sure will quickly become a fan favorite).

Into the Unknown: Making Frozen 2. Disney +. I really enjoyed the behind the scenes peek at putting together an animated film of this size and scope. In my opinion this was at least as good as the The Mandalorian documentary series. Definitely worth your time to watch. It is amazing how much time and effort goes into putting together a film like Frozen 2, and with a brother in law who works in Hollywood but never really talks about his job due to NDAs that he probably has to constantly sign it was nice to get a peek at what his life might be like as he has to put in those long hours to complete certain projects.

Pre-Covid I know that he used to work a ridiculous stretch of hours in one sitting getting sizzle reels ready for airing at the San Diego Comic Con. He was paid hourly so he was happy for the OT but the hint from some of the folks in the Frozen doc that In many instances they worked throughout the day and oftentimes into the night including weekends rings true from what my sister has told me on occasion regarding how often he is at the job.
