That has what to do with anything exactly? Just because today is Star Wars Day it's not like every show is obligated to do some sort of Star Wars special. I'm not a huge fan of LEGOS really but I'm curious to see this episode anyways.

May 4th is also International Firefighter's Day, Bird Day, and Audrey Hepburn's birthday too. Despite being a Star Wars and Hepburn fan, I think that celebrating International Firefighter Day takes more precedent.

It's LEGO, not LEGOS :)

Pretty cute episode for LEGO fans actually, we enjoyed it.

Maggie was a Duplo figure and bigger than her family. Radioactive Man is now Radioactive Fig.

What a weird thing to expect.

Anyways, nice episode, though Lego novelty aside, there have been much better episodes this season.

As a Star Wars fan since '77, I refuse to acknowledge a fake "holiday" created by the "fans" based on some stupid wordplay. The less that it is mentioned, the better.

I liked tonight's episode a lot. Aside from the novelty of the LEGO aspect it was a really good Homer and Lisa episode.

Was there a female narrator in the episode? I couldn't tell if my wife had hit a button on the TV, but it continued into Family Guy last night.

I want Fox to make Lego versions of other shows. 24 would be awesome.

Cute episode. Biggest laugh from me was the brick separator in the church. I also liked the nod to The Lego Movie at the end.

A few years ago "May the Fourth Be With You" was cute. Now, I want to punch people in the face when they even mention Star Wars on May 4.

There was no narration. It is likely you were having a stroke.

It was nerdy then, it's just desperate now.

Mini stroke?

After last years May 4th Lego UCS B-Wing sale, I was hoping for another huge sale this year. It was pretty damn disappointing.

I'm not a SW fan, but believe me, Star Wars day will only grow. People like it. Because normal people can be "geek" one day. Hardcore fans will probably hate more this day as times goes.

It reminds me of the way I've seen some people react regarding music. They are a fan of a smaller or Indie band.. That band gets a break from something like a song featured in a movie or TV episode. Band gets bigger and more fans.. The original fans, at first, like it because the band they like is getting more exposure.. As time goes on, they hate it because it isn't just their little band anymore that no one knows about.. now every knows about them and its no longer cool to like the band..

;)

First off, they don't have to do shit or Star Wars day. Second, the Lego stores were stuffed out the ass with Star Wars related shit and promotions yesterday, so it's not like this is completely unrelated.

Why'd you mention it then?

Yes, it just feels really... forced.

You mentioned this in another thread.

I hope you had a great Star Wars day and May The Fourth Be With You! :)

The Simpsons probably has an alternate audio track for the visually impaired that describes the action onscreen. This is common on a lot of PBS kids' shows. One of my TV's often switches the descriptive track on by itself.
