Good point.

It should be interesting what route they go.

Well he probably reported to his superiors re: what the Sheriff told him and got new orders from the feds.

I think this would have been a great limited series but it already seems to be off the rails.

ABC does all of these high-concept, short-run shows with the intention of turning them into regular series, if the ratings are decent enough. Which is why my expectations for them continue to be low.

They (and they all are, except CBS) are looking for the next Lost. NBC is even worse in this regard.

There are so many ideas that would be great as limited series yet no one really wants to do them. Either a story is a two hour movie or drawn out for years or cancelled on a cliffhanger unless they get to end it properly.

Great news that it's coming back.

I hope they keep the episode order small around 10-15 episodes. 8 was a very short season, but I think the structure of this show would suffer with a full 22 episode season.

The second season can be tiring if it's all about the encampment. They have made good changes from the book, so hopefully they can continue that.

I have no idea what they would do in a possible third season though.

But this is TV, even worse network TV, so they have to start talking stronger about the cause in the second season.

The structure of the show suffered in eight episodes, much less 22 episodes. I imagine it will be heavily retooled for a second season.
