I hope that synopsis is a lie and this whole episode is dedicated to Craig. :)

Holy shit. I lost it at the hologram Lil' Sebastian. rotfl

I love how the actually cashed in on the Ginuwine joke.

 at Ben singing to Letters To Cleo. Another good cash in on him always rockin their shirt.

Great Sorkin ending. to Jon Hamm.

What a great finale.

I got the feeling around the middle of this episode that they might do a time jump. I figured it was necessary to get Leslie beyond the pregnancy and have the kids old enough to not be babies anymore. I thought that they might have her and Ben live in Chicago for that time and then deciding to return to Pawnee after the time jump.

Also, I'm a huge fan of Letters to Cleo/Kay Hanley, so that was great.

I missed the part about the Li' Sebastian being a hologram. I thought it was just another horse standing in for him.

"Terry" :lol:

Loved the Jon Hamm cameo. According to someone at TWOP, there will be a producer's cut tomorrow.

It amused the hell out of me. The time flew by.

Has it been confirmed that next season is the last? This could have worked as a series finale.

I don't think it's confirmed, but it's likely. I'm good with seeing this go out on top next year.

I found myself missing Rob Lowe after he left. That's odd b/c his first couple years on the show I found the character pretty one note.

I wouldn't have minded this being the end of the show. I thought the show struggled a little this year for the first time since they introduced Adam Scott and the show really clicked.

Apparently someone major in the Obama administration is a big fan. First Joe, then Michelle. I guess that means Barrack is on next year.

Whatever happened to Natalie Ludgate? I miss her occasional appearances.

I haven't been around much this season in the threads, but figured I'd stop by for the finale. What a great hour of television. They really know how to pull off a finale, but more than that I can't say this show has ever really disappointed me and I've been around since the first episode. I love how it embraces the small-town dynamic and exudes positivity. The original cast has great chemistry and I've enjoyed Diane and Craig being added to the group.

Loved all the cameos and thought they all worked well in the context of the show. Great payoffs with Michelle Obama, Letters To Cleo, and Ginuwine especially. The Jon Hamm cameo was hilarious.

The Cones of Dunshire! Loved the moment with Ben and Barney (the accountant) at the bar.

Lester Knopf

Andy: "Ben I forgot, how many bags of marshmallows do I give them?" rotfl

I lost it when I saw the look on Ben's face after the town went crazy about the Lil' Sebastian hologram.

This really could've served as a series finale, but I'm always glad to get another season of Parks and Rec. I'll be very interested to see how the show handles the time-jump. Pretty crazy that we're going into the 7th season of a show that was on the bubble so often. Have they officially announced that this is going to be the last season? Can't see it going much longer and would like for them to know going into it (whenever that may be) that it's the final season.

They wrapped the snow up incase it was not renewed. Wonder if that time jump was added in later?

No, in couple of interviews Schur stated they had pretty good assurances from NBC they'd get a season seven and they ran the time jump through them.

It was more they didn't want to reset-and-redo the plot lines they had in motion (merger, etc.), but go forward and have Leslie take the career advancement and avoid a whole season of wacky triplet/birthing hijinks.

Great send-off to the Pawnee portion of the show, tho'. Yo La Tango's cameo was great.

So, the cliffhanger is "What's Ben's big event they're going to?" right?

I seriously LOL'd when Ron smashed the chair he made because it was too perfect and looked machine made. I still chuckle now thinking about it.

Who was the band with the blonde female singer?

"I am here for some daddy D"

Surprised the local media here did not cover the Parks and Rec crew coming to SF to film some scenes.

I thought the time jump was a joke or Leslie dreaming about the future?

I hope they don't ditch Pawnee and the rest of the cast and the current format in season 7.

I really enjoyed the whole episode. It felt like the series finale to me too... only thing it would have been missing was Ann, Chris and their kid at the Unity Concert... High hopes for season 7!

I'll echo the sentiment. Great finale.

I'm hoping whatever Ben's big event it's somehow related to Cones of Dunshire. Absolutely love that they brought that back and is now a cult hit.

I'm happy they did the time jump. Pregnancy and baby raising story lines are never good.

They wrapped up a lot of little things in this finale. It really could have worked as the series finale. Jon Hamm cameo was perfect.

I loved it, but as a regular music festival attendee I had a hard time believing the schedule.

The Decemberists opened, followed by Ginuine, Letters to Cleo, then semi-known local band, then mostly unknown local band?

That's pretty much the exact opposite those bands would play.

Is it impossible for people to separate television from reality?

This was an awesome ep. I love Parks & Rec, but this should've been the series finale.

It wasn't a dream - now they don't have to waste the probably last season with pregnant Leslie and/or newborns.

And they are in the same building, so I don't see how things are going to change that much, beyond Tom probably being gone from the office to run his restaurant but still around.

This might have been my favorite Parks and Rec ever. The perfect mix of great writing, hilarious jokes and heartwarming moments. And a bold new direction for the future. I love that Ron's random fix up of the 3rd floor became so important by the end. And jumping past the early years with the triplets is brilliant.
