Dallas - Spring Finale - "Where There's Smoke" - 4/14/14
In the electrifying mid-season finale, Pamela's discovery that John Ross has been sleeping with Emma ignites a firestorm at Southfork threatening not only their relationship, but Bobby and Ann's. Christopher and Heather (guest star AnnaLynne McCord) must deal with a drastic action taken by Bo (guest star Donny Boaz); Elena and Nicolas' relationship is tested as Drew's (guest star Kuno Becker) arrival in Dallas continues to threaten their plans; and Emma takes a page out of her grandmother's playbook that ends in disaster. As cliffhangers mount, lives and relationships are brought to the brink, setting the stage for a summer of showdowns.

Dallas -- "Where There's Smoke" -- 4/14/14 - Season Finale
Ho-lee-shiat, this episode was full of awesomeness.
Some pretty excellent season cliffhangers, although the little "coming next season" blurb at the end spoils one of them right off the bat.
The threesome was a jaw dropping moment.
The pricking the diaphragm with a pin thing was just so hilariously over the top.
... one thing I don't understand is the sexualization of the grandmother. LOL. It's laughable, and now that they are trying to make her look younger, it just reinforces how ridiculous it is that she's Ryland's mother.
All in all, a very entertaining season. I really thought this show was going to be toast once Larry Hagman died, but Josh Henderson really brought it this year.

Dallas' official Facebook pages are hilarious today with hundreds upon hundreds of complains about the three-way scene.
So, what's our opinion of Pamela's intentions? I see three possibilities (ie: a possibility threesome):
--Pam was high on pills and didn't know what she was doing
--She was committing suicide and wanted to "go out with a bang"
--She was genuinely into it as a sign of joining the dark side

Also over the top: the extravagant leather case for a pin in an apartment that looks like 2000 square feet with nothing but a bed, a couch, and a nightstand.

That threesome was the hottest thing I've seen on TV all year - and I have HBO.
I'm rather 'meh' about the Southfork fire - primarily because it's been done before.

Hell of a finale
Threesome was unexpected, but appreciated.
Not sure what Pamela's intentions were. Very bizarre scene. at how John Ross couldn't decide if he was turned on or not.
at Nicolas poking holes in the diaphragm. That was hilarious. What woman uses that anymore? Obviously he's trying to get Elena pregnant to fuck things up for her since she seems to be backing out of their original plan.

Harris Ryland: "Did one of the dalmatians get out?"
One of the all-time great DALLAS comebacks.

OK, I finally got around to watching this, and I actually called the threesome. With what she was wearing, I just had the idea she was wearing the teddy underneath. Didn't see the OD coming though.
Also, what the hell was with the horrible remix of Break On Through they used?

Does Bobby know his wife had a one night stand with Cliff back in the 80s?

it's fun re-watching the original
