Yea? I bailed after the first few episodes of Season 1. It's something I'm surprised I didn't dig right away. I heard it did get better...

Great season opener last night. Loved Dan calling out Jonah on his blog. Curious to see what happens with him this season.

"Don't interrupt any major sporting event....unless it's golf."
"That's a midterm year, Jonah." rotfl |

After a quick visit to their new campaign HQ, Selina and her team go on a ride-along with the Coast Guard, where they learn the president has flipped on a major issue, which makes Selina reexamine her own stance. Meanwhile, Gary (Tony Hale) questions his role with the Veep, and Jonah's (Timothy C. Simons) new political blog causes trouble. Teleplay by Roger Drew & Ian Martin; story by Armando Iannucci & Roger Drew & Ian Martin; directed by Becky Martin. Episode 2 of 10 Best part of last week's premiere was seeing Jonah get thrown out of the White House. Hate that douche. Loved that scene. |
re: Veep (HBO) -- Season 3 Thread -- premieres 4/06/14
"Shit on my tits" got an actual  from me.
I love Anna Chlumsky so much. |
re: Veep (HBO) -- Season 3 Thread -- premieres 4/06/14
She is growing on me a lot.
Jonah was great last night with his new website. Is this a series thread? Probably makes more sense |
re: Veep (HBO) -- Season 3 Thread -- premieres 4/06/14
Great episode.
Loved that Gary tried to venture outside of his normal duties. Also love how every character is essentially just a terrible person. |
Re: Veep -- "The Choice" -- 4/13/14
Very funny episode last night. Jonah was still a douche even in unemployment. I  when Selina flipped out about the Potus stance on pro choice and life during that coast guard sting.

I love this show. The premiere was very good but this one was laugh out loud funny. Really enjoyed the back and forth on which stance to take.
Running is still the best episode from the show. |

While Selina and her staff prepare for an Annapolis event where she will announce her candidacy, Dan (Reid Scott) gets word that "Saturday Night Live" has done a not-so-flattering sketch about her. Teleplay by Sean Gray & Ian Martin; story by Armando Iannucci & Sean Gray & Ian Martin; directed by Christopher Morris. Episode 3 of 10 |
Re: Veep -- "Alicia" -- 4/20/14
I  when she called Kent "Kenny Rogers"
Jonah and Ben are both comedy gold. |
Re: Veep -- "Alicia" -- 4/20/14
Selina's "what is a fuck truck?" line killed me. No show drops better insulting phrases than this one. And the running ballon gag was great too.

Re: Veep -- "Alicia" -- 4/20/14
This show is so awesome.

Re: Veep -- "Alicia" -- 4/20/14
Hilarious episode. Love this show.
Is there any way to snap her out of this diving bell and the butterfly shit? rotfl at the guy walking in on Mike on his knees singing 'goober peas' in front of Jonah. |
Re: Veep -- "Alicia" -- 4/20/14
This show has been great from the start, but gets better every week - best comedy on TV at present
