I'm calling my shot... the mother is not only dead, she's been a ghost this entire time... and it's Robin.

After watching the Inside The Actors Studio...and seeing clips from old episodes... it really made me upset at how far this show has fallen. I do have faith in the finale...but this really didn't need to go on for as long as it did.

It's been an excruciatingly long season/Weekend (who remembers the rhyming episode?), but I still have high hopes for the Finale. I assume this is something that has been gestating in the minds of Bays & Thomas for years and I just hope it pays off well.
And for the record, I have zero problem with the Mother being dead, if that's what it actually turns out to be. |

I have really mixed emotions right now. My first thought is I really dont like how it ended and was hoping for something more but I guess its probably the most realistic of endings.

Wow, people on Twitter, mostly women, really hate this ending. Apparently Ted get's the Mother and Robin? Women are like why does Ted get to have his cake and eat it too?

For a show that dragged out way too long, that conclusion was way too rushed.
