"DEFECTION"

03/30/2014 (09:00PM - 10:00PM) (Sunday) : BO AND TATE EVADE A MANHUNT TO HELP REUNITE LONG-LOST LOVERS As the dragnet closes, Tate (Jake McLaughlin) puts his freedom at risk to help Bo (Johnny Sequoyah) find the writer of a long-lost love letter. Meanwhile, Winter (Delroy Lindo) makes preparations for an escape from Manhattan as Skouras (Kyle MacLachlan) and Agent Ferrell (Trieste Kelly Dunn) ramp up the effort to bring Tate and Bo into custody. This is a heavily formulaic show. The little girl has some task to complete during the episode and everyone goes home happy. I won't comment on the tortured love scenario of this one.

Even though I like shows that have something to accomplish and complete within that given episode along with a ongoing back story something does feel a bit too formulaic with this one so far. Likely because what they have to accomplish is the same thing along with almost getting caught again!

Doing that every week is not enough. Mission, almost get caught and repeat.

Kind of -_- about being able to track the use of her powers.

I like the show but could do without having them help others along the way, every episode. I have a feeling though that this is a One season show.

I think that if this show gets another season (which I don't see happening with what it goes up against) that it will be like Fox's cancelled show Touch. First season is the bounding and understanding between our two leads and the next season is the bigger mystery. Maybe once they truly leave NY that it will try and show us where they want the show to go. Like everyone else, it has been formulaic but I have really enjoyed the child actor for once.
