I'm glad they worked the last slap in there. Love that they kept it a total surprise. I wondered a few weeks ago if my count was off, or if I had missed one.

The Slapsgiving 3 episode in January was supposed to be the final slap. I heard they had to dub the line "One more" and other lines on the future DVD will be fixed too because the amount of slaps said were wrong.

Great use of "Future Days" by Pearl Jam at the end.
That was a great episode. But now I wonder what they are going to do with one hour in the last episode. A lot of flash forwards, flash backs, and of course the entire episode is at the funeral.

Anyone catch Inside the Actor's Studio tonight? They shouldve let it run longer than an hour, too much was cut I think.

Some info on the slaps.
How I Met Your Mother WIKI
How I Met Your Mother WIKI
The Eight Slaps
The Eight Slaps were a series of slaps that Marshall Eriksen could give out to Barney Stinson from the episode Slap Bet to eternity. Originally, only five slaps were able to be issued, but in exchange for not wearing the Ducky Tie, Marshall got three extra slaps in Disaster Averted. The Slap Bet is completed in The End of the Aisle.
The Five Slaps
The slaps which have been issued by Marshall took place in the following episodes:
Slap Bet
Stuff
Slapsgiving
Slapsgiving 2: Revenge of the Slap
Disaster Averted
Disaster Averted
Slapsgiving 3: Slappointment in Slapmarra
The End of the Aisle
Trivia
The plot in Slapsgiving 3 says that the Slap of a Million Exploding Suns was the final slap, but actually there was still one slap left. The final one was shown in The End of the Aisle.
There is an explantation for the slap in Slapsgiving 3 being the fourth slap. By the time of Disaster Averted, he had used 4 slaps, and getting an extra 3 reset his total to only one slap used. He used 2 in Disaster Averted, bringing his total up to 3. In Slapsgiving 3, he used another slap, bringing his total back to four.

Can anybody confirm that the song playing as Robin walks down the aisle was Sandcastles in the Sand?
I saw that on another site, and it would make sense as the final Robin Sparkles reference.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%22Weird_Al%22_Yankovic
Paul McCartney, also a Yankovic fan, refused Yankovic permission to record a parody of Wings' "Live and Let Die", titled "Chicken Pot Pie", because McCartney is a vegetarian and found the parody to be improper.[75]
but then there's a clip of him doing it

I remember seeing/hearing Weird Al play Chicken Pot Pie. Maybe it was one of the times i saw him live. I just always assumed it was on an album, i guess
