Comedy Bang Bang (On IFC) Scott Aukerman and Reggie Watts

Comedy Bang! Bang! is a television series created and hosted by Scott Aukerman, featuring his co-host/bandleader Reggie Watts. The show airs weekly on IFC and is a spin-off of his successful podcast Comedy Bang! Bang! which airs on the Earwolf network. Like the podcast, the series features outlandish and farcical humor, often delivered in a deadpan manner. The mock talk show derives most of its comedy from its surreal spoofs of common late night tropes as well as from the characters' own cartoonish inability to conduct said talk show. Comedy Bang! Bang! wrapped its Second Season on December 20th, 2013 with returning special guest Zach Galifianakis. Yea, it's funny. I like the Pee Wee Herman Halloween one and the one with Jason Schwartzman when he brings his daughter to work.

Netflix recently added the second half of season 3. Worth watching.

It's not too surprising. The episodes have been pretty hit or miss for awhile now. I think it lost something when Reggie Watts left. |

The podcast can be just about the funniest thing I've heard. I particularly like Victor and Tiny as well as pretty much anything PFT does.
I don't think anyone watched the show. It's a slow burn of a show and it thrives on spontaneity, both are really tough to do with fickle TV audiences. |
