The Challenge: Free Agents (MTV) - Premieres 4/10/14

I know there are some who are still interested in The Challenges. They really need to get some new people...

MTV just announced the cast of the upcoming Season 25 of "The Challenge," and there's more than a few shocking pieces of information about the new chapter.

First of all, it's a totally individual game this time around: "The Challenge: Free Agents." No more pairing up rivals or exes -- the new cast members only have to rely on themselves to win the big cash prize.

Kicking off on April 10, the 28 "Real World" and "Challenge" alums will fight to win the $350,000 prize, and that will be more difficult this time around as another big change has been instated: A "random draw" will select one male contestant and one female contestant to head into the elimination round against contestants voted into the elimination by that week's winners. That means the only way to stay in the game for sure is to keep winning the challenges, because alliances have no weight in a random draw.

So who's competing in "The Challenge: Free Agents?" Check out the full roster below, first posted on Buzzfeed:

The guys:
CT -- Real World: Paris (2003)
Swift -- The Real World: St. Thomas (2012)
Dustin -- The Real World: Las Vegas (2011)
Johnny Bananas -- The Real World: Key West (2006)
Leroy -- The Real World: Las Vegas (2011)
Frank -- The Real World: San Diego (2011)
Isaac -- The Real World: Sydney (2007)
Zach -- The Real World: San Diego (2011)
Cohutta -- The Real World: Sydney (2007)
Johnny -- The Real World: Portland (2013)
Jordan -- The Real World: Portland (2013)
Chet -- The Real World: Brooklyn (2009)
Preston -- The Real World: New Orleans (2010)
Brandon -- The Challenge: Fresh Meat II (2010)

The girls:
Jemmye -- The Real Wold: New Orleans (2010)
Laurel -- The Challenge: Fresh Meat II (2010)
Devyn -- The Real World: Brooklyn (2009)
Cara Maria -- The Challenge: Fresh Meat II (2010)
Nia -- The Real World: Portland (2013)
Nany -- The Real World: Las Vegas (2011)
LaToya -- The Real World: St. Thomas (2012)
Emilee -- The Real World: Cancun (2009)
Jessica -- The Real World: Portland (2013)
Aneesa -- The Real World: Chicago (2002)
Camila -- Spring Break Challenge (2010)
Jasmine -- The Real World: Cancun (2009)
Theresa -- The Challenge: Fresh Meat II (2010)
Jonna -- The Real World: Cancun (2009)

It's interesting to note that this season's cast doesn't have a single "Real World: Ex-Plosion" cast member. Usually, "The Challenge" takes one or two cast members from the previous season of "Real World" to compete, and those rookies are usually the first to go in eliminations against the veterans. Except, of course, last season's "The Challenge: Rivals II" when "Real World: Portland" rookies Jordan and Marlon made it into the finals.

Who are you most excited to see back on "The Challenge?" Are you ready for what's sure to be another CT vs. Johnny Bananas rivalry? Are you nervous that "Real World: Portland's" Nia and Johnny will be in the same room together again after their explosive fight during their season?

"The Challenge: Free Agents" premieres Thursday, April 10 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.

I'm actually a little upset there's nobody from this year's Real World. The ex angle got me to watch the show again and I found myself continuously thinking how much fun Brian or Corey would be with guys like Frank, CT and Johnny although Wes isn't back apparently.

I don't know why I've continued to watch this season. The people are so awful. But I cant look away.

Once Wes stopped taking roids he became a total wuss.

"I've always been a free agent, now everyone has to play my game"

Man that trailer got me pumped for this season.

It sure does seem like a lot of the same folks the last few years.

How has Johnny Bananas only been doing these since 2006? It seems like he's been on challenges since the Eisenhower administration.

Aneesa has been doing these forever too.

At lot of these names don't register with me until I see their faces on the show, but I see Nia from RW:Portland is on this season. She was the crazy one that got into a major physical fight with two of her roommates including bitch slappng one with a hair dryer.

I see Cohutta is back. It's been awhile since he's been on. He seemed to be one of the less douchy people on the show.

Why do they keep bringing Preston back? He is always horrible in the challenges.

I'm glad to see that Laurel and CM are still friends. (Just stumbled across this from last September, presumably from when Bananas was picking on CM in the last challenge. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zetP_k1tIAc)

The last RW season that I watched was Sydney. I was wondering all through the episode if there was another Isaac or if that was the same one. I guess it's the same one.

Not at all disappointed to see Jemmye go home first.

The girls match was pretty fun to watch. I don't really blame Chet for leaving, aside from the injury and messing up his face, I imagine inside he knew he still probably would have lost to Frank.

I don't really like the whole random kill card thing to pick someone to go in though.

I thought this was actually pretty good (for what it is). I like the free agent format of the season.

Every single time this show airs, I feel dirty for watching it and then as soon as it's over, I can't wait for the next one...and that's from someone who doesn't watch anything else on MTV, not even their music or movie awards shows.

Definitely not impressed with the cast, but Laurel looks insanely hot and will make up just about anything else should she make it to the end.

I think it was enough to make them free agents without the random draw to see who else goes into the challenge. On the one hand, it's a long time coming to try and put an end to certain people almost always getting to the end or having an incredibly huge advantage to get there. But having them all playing for themselves seems to make it more cut throat already without fearing you'll lose someone you like and who's played a good game to a loss in a challenge based purely on chance. Those things don't always go to the best player.

I guess this is the only place we'll ever get to see my ex-wife and the challenge's all-time hottest and best player.

I was very excited for this season because I always thought the fact that they could have alliances was too big of an advantage for some players. I thought they were going to do away with it this season. They really didn't. Yes, you don't get to pick your team, but you CAN influence who gets voted in. I wanted no voting at all. They should have had the worst 2 in an individual challenge to fight to stay alive.

Its not as big of an advantage, but its still influences the outcome of the game.

It would make the game more physical and about endurance but you'd be completely taking away the social aspect of the game. I understand why some would want that but it would ruin the show for me.

What makes Challenge great is the bickering about votes. And then someone getting thrown under the bus because they happen to be fucking the wrong person.

Also, having the worst two people each time would make the elimination challenges for the first half of the season very boring.

Re: The Challenge: Free Agents (MTV) - Premieres 4/10/14

I like how Johnny was pretty much calling them all idiots for trying to come up with some voting system and base the elimination on merit. None of them could be on the same "team" next challenge, so however they're voting really isn't going to be the same each time.

Re: The Challenge: Free Agents (MTV) - Premieres 4/10/14

I was surprised Laurel picked Jonna, b/c I know she wouldn't care about calling out a strong female. Then I figured she did it b/c Cara was up for elimination.

The gay porn star seems like a nice guy, but he's bland so whatever. I don't even remember the girl's name.

The aftershow was a waste of time even with surgically enhanced Susie making an appearance.

Susie looked horrible. I can't even remember what happened on the show after seeing her like that. Well, that oughta teach her for leaving me.

And was Moseley wearing a hairpiece? It sure looked like it.

Why would Susie do that to her body? Can it possibly be all from the baby? I don't really care what anyone does if it makes them happy, but getting ridiculously giant knockers doesn't seem like something Susie would do. She's married and it's not like she's even looking for a career in entertainment.

Could she be preggers again? Ugh, that was depressing.

I noticed that too... Fake tits and too much makeup. Not the Susie I remember.

So Susie just looks and sounds like a typical blonde reality show girl. Shocking. You guys talk like you know her personally or something

I was really hoping Frank would lose, bummed Dustin lost. The after show was funny to hear all the girls talking about Dustin's junk. I like that Cara Maria bitched out Camilla, since it's the same thing every year with her. Get drunk, throw a tantrum.

Susie is actually extremely intelligent. I don't hang out with her, no, but I do know that.

She told me today that she's not with child, but I'm still shocked she'd get implants at all, much less ones WAY too big. I guess the MTV people might be responsible for the bad make-up job.

Hey, this is a thread about The Challenge. Of course you should expect 'idiotic' comments and judgments about people we don't know. That's exactly what train-wreck television causes people to do.

2 straight weeks people went home that I'd rather have seen stay. Just need Laurel and/or Cara Maria to go deep.

Oh, and for those who are veteran watchers, Paula got married (she finally found a guy crazy enough to do it) and she's with child (a boy).

Re: The Challenge: Free Agents (MTV) - Premieres 4/10/14

That's nice, I really don't care about her at all. Just saying that unless you know her personally, it's funny to see comments about what seems like something she would or wouldn't do. Ask her about her boobs.

I didn't realize they were doing an after show right after the first airing, i'm glad I caught it on DVR since I ended up watching the show online and went back to catch the after show recorded. I was wondering why it was showing up as an hour and a half and all the re-airings were only an hour.
