Modern Family - "Other People's Children" - 3/12/14
"Other People's Children" - It's male-bonding day when Jay takes Luke into the garage to show him the way around tools and impart some manly wisdom, and Gloria goes with Claire and Lily to shop for Lily's flower girl dress. Elsewhere, Mitch, Cam, Alex and Manny go for a cultured day at the museum but it eventually becomes survival of the smartest. And Phil enthusiastically offers to help Andy with his anniversary gift to his girlfriend, which is an elaborate video expression of his love, on "Modern Family," WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12 (9:00-9:31 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

I enjoyed this episode overall (though I hate Andy as much as I hate Dylan) but Jay's talk with Luke kinda bummed me out. It felt like the writers were preparing us for Ed O'Neil's eventual untimely passing.

Haven't like Andy at all so far, but pairing him with Phil really worked for me. Funny episode all around.

Didn't find this to be one of the better episodes, but I did enjoy the "Tomorrow, someone in the Coast Guard will be giving it to my girlfriend!" line.

I thought this was one of the better episodes of the season.
Andy: "I'm gonna give this to the mailman, who's going to give it to the coastguard - and by this time tomorrow someone in the coast guard's gonna be giving it to my girlfriend."
Phil: "Can you imagine the smile on her face when she takes it all in?"
I guess every episode will have a storyline that relates to preparations for Cam and Mitchell's wedding.
It's been obvious for a while that they intend to hook up Haley and Andy.

I haven't watched this episode in a long time. My wife still watches it. I decided to watch it with my wife. My first question was: why did they replaced Luke???
Phil will always be my favorite. So this episode worked for me.

If that's what it looks like when puberty hit Luke, then puberty must have ran over Alex with a monster truck.

On that theme
“Modern Family’s” Ariel Winter, 16, buys a Mercedes C350, costing more than $50,000 in full.

If you click to the story, the identity of the car salesman is pretty interesting.

What the hell are you talking about? The gag had nothing to do with gay people gut rather about trying to act brainy to fit in with those who are smarter than you.
