Another great episode. I wonder if we will actually see Norma on stage as Nellie Forbush at some point this season.

I noticed "After Hours" didn't air tonight... guess that was just a one-off special and not a weekly post-show?

Vera kills it every week. The range of motion she shows without screaming "acting" is amazing.

Brought back memories of this great Sinatra song

So, I tune in to BATES MOTEL and they're showing an episode of GLEE. WTF? ;)

I am concerned the cast is getting too big. Bradley is gone but now we add Norma's brother and the teacher's father, plus the new leader of the gang, that psycho (Zeke?). And Romero is getting more air time and more characters are to come. I hope it doesn't become a distraction.

I don't like that either

The Norma and Norman interaction is what draws me in and they are going too far with these other characters and storylines.

Norma and Morman should be in 95% of the scenes.

 Solid episode. The Norma and Norman scenes were fantastic. Especially after Norman lost it after he stormed out of the theater.

I'm going to guess that Nicola Peltz being written out is only temporary so that she could film Transformers. She's still under contract to the show and wasn't killed off. I bet she will either make a brief appearance by the finale or return fulltime next season. They started filming last summer when Transformers was in full production.

Regarding the pearl necklace and Miss Watson's death. I'm sure some of you probably assume this: Romero mentioned there were 2 semen samples at the crime scene and one belonged to the guy that he picked up. The other obviously belongs to Norman. I'm guessing his split personality had sex with her and killed her and then took the pearls. Norman was kind of in a haze after he discovered the body last season & as me mentioned before he couldn't remember some things. I don't think I'm off here. It fits with the character and what he's supposed to become.

It's amazing what can bother me about a TV episode. Case in point:

Norman goes to the grocery store and his bill is $41 even.

Now, even forgetting the fact that the odds of $41 being the exact amount are pretty remote, Norman then pulls TWO bills out of his wallet, pays, and leaves (no change).

There's NO combination of two bills that would equal $41. Did he put down a pair of $20s and stiff her on $1, or did he throw down a $50 and a $1 and tip her $10? :)

And Emma already has far too little screen time. Two episodes and scenes she's in may total a couple of minutes.

Also, nice shot of Norma in the window, a la the original Psycho.

I noticed that too. But did we really see that it was two bills? He seemed to reach into his wallet twice. Maybe the two 20s were together and he went back for a single.

There are Bradley haters? If anything I was surprised that Norman didn't off her.

That's because "Those Who Kill" was canned after 2 episodes. That has to be a first out of A&E. Usually the big networks are the ones who kill a show after 2 episodes.

It wasn't cancelled. They pulled it and plan to relaunch it on another day.

"Shadow of a Doubt" also the name of a Hitchcock movie starring Joseph Cotten as a murderous uncle Charlie who comes to stay with his sister and her family.

I assume Emma has to fill the gap left by Bradley's departure.
