Former NBC Nightly News host Tom Brokaw is undergoing treatment for cancer, the network announced Tuesday. Brokaw, now an NBC News Special Correspondent, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a cancer affecting blood cells in the bone marrow, back in August. “With the exceptional support of my family, medical team and friends, I am very optimistic about the future and look forward to continuing my life, my work and adventures still to come,” Brokaw said in a statement. “I remain the luckiest guy I know.” Sad news. I hope he can pull through, but since it's in his bone marrow, it doesn't sound good. |

Hope he gets better and he was the best among the top 3 anchors back in the day and Brian Williams continues his great legacy.
