Rick and Morty on Adult Swim, co-created by Dan Harmon

Rick and Morty is a new cartoon on Adult Swim. Dan Harmon (creator and showrunner of Community) co-created Rick and Morty with Justin Roiland.
I searched and didn't see a thread about it. Anybody watching this? I've seen three episodes so far and really like it. It's zany, sometimes dark and cynical, and usually hilarious. Definitely has Harmon's style of humor all over the stories and dialogue. Roiland voices both main characters, and does a great job.
Looks like there will be 11 episodes this season, and it has already been picked up for a second season.
You can view the episodes on adult swim's website, or I believe all of the episodes aired so far can also be found on youtube.

I tend to like just about all of Adult Swim, although I am a couple years behind on all of it now. With my love for Community this is a must see. Thanks.

I've watched it here and there. It's decent but I don't find it to be nearly as hilarious as others seem to.

I've only seen "Lawnmower Dog" but it was really entertaining, looking forward to catching more.
It seems the show already has a respectable following, especially given the channel and how new it is.

I think it's a pretty funny show. My first episode was the 3rd episode, "Anatomy Park", which I thought was pretty good. "Meeseeks and Destroy" was hilarious.
I've meant to start a thread on this a few weeks ago, but I got sidetracked.

Okay, I just watched the episode with the Meseeks. I thought the whole Meseeks story line back home was very funny, but the adventure with Rick and Morty got really dark really fast:

This show is pretty impressive to me. The fact it's heavily story driven makes the 22 minutes fly-by at a ridiculous rate. Gets very dark in spots, but it's pretty enjoyable, started on Lawnmower Dog.

People have way too much time on their hands, that said Mr. Meeseeks was a pretty awesome character.

I rewatched the Anatomy Park episode the other day--lotsa fun. I liked Morty trying to score with the hot chick and getting cockblocked by Rick. The uncomfortable family drama with the dad's parents and their new "friend" was great, too.
The next new episode (Ep 7) airs March 10.

Yeah, that was cool. I thought one of the voices was familiar, but didn't realize who it was until the credits (Claudia Black).
Pretty funny episode, especially the beginning with Morty and the sexbot. And having Summer on an adventure with Rick was a nice changeup.
Morty's parents are such assholes.

Their voices were driving me nuts because they sounded so familiar but not enough to pique my interest to look...and then I was watching a few episodes tonight and it came to me...Lemongrab.

Yeah, Justin Roiland does all of that. Rick, Morty, Lemongrab, Mr. Meeseeks.

My favorite part of this latest episode was Morty telling Summer about eating cereal every morning while sitting 20 feet away from his own rotting corpse.
Those TV programs were hilariously random. That one bit about the trailer for the show with the Mexican brothers was just such a crazy stream-of-consciousness ramble.

Adult Swim should develop pilot episodes for all those alternate reality TV shows, just as a joke.

They still need the 15 minute episodes of a world run by smart dogs as referenced in episode 2.

The Mr. Meeseeks episode is actually where the voice struck me as Lemongrab...all of the voices are grating but the show is enjoyable.

If the homicidal Rick was a robot, why did the homicidal Morty need to hide behind Morty brainwaves? I'm wondering if that Rick and Morty switched bodies.
Also, nice cameo by the Cronenberg Rick and Morty.
