I'm surprised those same people aren't saying "Jack Bauer saving Brits?! Jack Bauer saves AMERICANS, dammit!" :)

Not quite.

It's singing one of our national songs with international languages.

Tell me the brits wouldn't be upset with a similar commercial using God Save the Queen.

Spots I see on YouTube but I didn't see on the broadcast:

-- Muppets 2
-- Captain America 2

When did these air?

Captain America 2 aired early. I think around the time of the coin toss. I don't recall seeing Muppets 2.

I think I laughed at one commercial (Doberhuahua) and I laughed at it last week when I saw it online. And I have no idea what the product was.

Time Machine and Cowboy Kid were big winners in the Doritos commerical. I did like Time Machine but thought Cowboy Kid was dumb. I wanted that Mermaid commerical to win.

Cowboy kid and time machine were winners in a contest.
Commercials made by independent directors.
They showed all 6 during the SB commercials show.

The best one that I saw wasn't even on the SB.

when did the mermaid one air, I missed it.

Probably. Those people would also be morons.

Is that Kevin bacon show any good? Promos look interesting but a bit odd.

If the law enforcement at the Super Bowl was as incompetent as they are portrayed on The Following there would have been chaos and New York/New Jersey would have burned to the ground.

Her snarky face drives me crazy... it's more annoying than when Jeff Daniels does the "hey, do you know what the most annoying sound ever is?" thing in Dumb and Dumber.

Clearly Jamie Casino and his flaming sledgehammer of justice was the best Super Bowl commercial. Sadly, it didn't run nationally:

I dunno why, but "Moink!" really got me. I laughed at that for way too long.

I am watching the ads online to see which one I have to be offended by. So far nothing but I won't feel like a true American unless one of these pisses me off.

I forgot about that one. That was definitely my favorite.

That Savannah local Jamie Casino commercial was simply awesome.

Rather than buy that Jack in the Box burger, seems like it would be easier just to inject the cholesterol intravenously.

When I saw the new Dark Chocolate Crunch Cheerios, I couldn't help but wonder how well it would have worked in the commercial. :)

I don't know who Gail "The Snail" is, but Chloe is beloved on 24. They couldn't have really done the show without her. Maybe they could have, but the fans would not have been happy about it.
