Synopsis:

Clay makes it clear to Elena that he's still very much interested in her, but she keeps her distance, focusing her attention on tracking the killer "mutt" and getting back to her human life in Toronto. However, the discovery of a second body on Stonehaven property keeps the prodigal werewolf in Upstate New York indefinitely.

Episode 2 of 13

I thought this episode was pretty decent. They went a little more into the show's mythology and Elena's backstory with some of the male characters. Not sure, but I'm wondering if Elena's past relationship with Clay may have had something to do with her becoming a wolf. Or if she was already a wolf. Maybe they will go more into that in a future episode. Obviously there is some tension between them. Interesting to see that the "mutt" killed a child at the end.

I'm usually not one looking for some procedural action, but these first two episodes have been a slow burn for a short-season series and too light on action. They seem to be presenting these episodes like we've been watching the characters for years and already have a lot of contextual knowledge, except it's a new series with a completely unknown brand.

Kudos to whomever is dressing Laura for this show.:D
