So is that Steve's bare ass still in the opening credits? Or was it supposed to be just a random guy. If it is him, I wonder if they still have to pay him for that shot.

As far as I can tell, Lip doesn't appear anywhere in the opening credits. They used to have a shot with him and Karen but that was removed for last season since Karen wasn't a full time cast member, I imagine.

I wonder if they will give the characters any definitive word on Jimmy/Steve's death or will he just be assumed by them to be missing forever.

I can definitely see Frank dead before the end of the series with how things seem to be going for him.

Fiona putting out for Mike. Always a nice bonus seeing Emmy's boobs.

Funny seeing 2 former cast members from Greek in this episode.


Carl's attempts to jerk off and then the bonus scene with him coming back from Costco with the gigantic Vaseline bottle. I loved the evil grin.


Oh man, Kevin and Veronica having 2 kids. That's a train wreck waiting to happen.

I like the whole Lip in college storyline. Hopefully they stick with it for awhile.

Yup. Really fun episode. Frank is such a POS, I wish the cop would of left him at the crack house.
I fear this won't end well for Deb.

Yeah, good return for the show. Wonder if we'll continue to get more exposure to Debbie and Carl -- their storylines could both end up being entertaining. This show would have been better off w/o Frank around anymore, but since he's back I am slightly curious where they choose to go w/him.

Also, looks like viewership was down 15% from last year's season opener.

I liked it. Good set up for the season.

I see what they're doing with Frank. It's pretty hard to watch. But I'm hoping for a return of piece of shit alcoholic Frank.

Lip in college could be it's own spin off. He's a great character and putting him in college is a good move. It can't be long before he quits his job and starts selling drugs.

I was surprised to see Carl and Deb be able to carry the episode. They both have interesting stuff going on though the stuff with Deb is pretty disturbing. This show doesn't have boundaries so I can see that taking an even more disturbing turn.

Hoping for Ian to return and for Lip to spend some time at home. I figure they'll work in Christmas break half way through the season.

Looks like they've run out of things to do with Sheila. Maybe Karen or Jody will return?

Wow, Carl and Debbie really grew up from last season.

Good start to the season, although I thought Lip was supposed to be going to MIT. Why is he living in a dorm if he is attending a Chicago technical school?

Steve is definitely gone. I noticed during the "last season on..." segment they added the sound of a gun shot to the scene last season where the yacht leaves the harbor with Steve on board. There was no gun shot when it originally aired.

Well he looked older when Fiona was waking him/everyone up. He has his own bed now and seems to be talking. He's also sitting on a regular chair at the breakfast table - however Fiona spoonfed him some cereal, so who knows what the fuck is going on there. This kid should be more vocal and active in the household by now - he's at least 4 years old.

Carl is a little taller and his voice has changed. Deb is definitely taller.

I noticed that as well. It was dumb to include the gunshot sound. We should just find out at some point that he's dead, just like the characters - especially since the season ended without us knowing what happened to him.
