damn, peter's dad must have been pretty much robbing the cradle
that chick that was up for the appointment was way younger than jackie, and probably less annoying, no wonder he was going for it

Good episode overall.. I wonder if L&G's antics are going to catch up with them at some point.. The new partner just walks in and steals furniture and peeks at confidential documents.. Granted, they were just lying on a desk, but I'm sure that Alicia didn't expect anyone to come looking at the documents on the case they were in process with.
Interesting sub-plot with Jackie. She can be a mean old bird when she wants... usually its in regard to Peter and protecting him or making him look better.. But she does have her own self interests to look out for.

The new partner as a rainmaker makes no sense.
He is a career mob lawyer that has a rep as a mob lawyer. They stated many of his clients are serving time hence he is available. How much monthly revenue would be he be bringing in to the firm? Would a firm that has grand designs of becoming a national power really want a mob lawyer as a partner?
Here is my guess as to what is going to happen, remember when the ASA was stating in court that he wasn't just the mob's lawyer but an actual member of the mob? It will turn out that he is the son or some other type of relation to a mob boss and it was the mob that sent him to law school and he is in fact an active member.
