Even after the spoiler, I still have no idea who she is.

That's no excuse. You totally remember Rebecca Schaeffer, who only had the unmitigated nerve to

attempt stopping a fan's bullets with her face.

It was an okay episode, I didn't care for the storyline they chose to go with overall.
that was kind of the point. I thought some of the jokes really pushed the vulgarity level a bit - like the restaurant 'fish' comment and the 'pie' joke.

Re: Family Guy -- "Peter-assment" -- 03/21/10

This episode looked like leftover story ideas from three different episodes just jammed together to fill a half hour. No resolution to Stewie's stage fright (one week after he was starring in a TV series), Peter's "simpsons did it" job as a paparazzi went nowhere, and the angela storyline was just awful. The only good parts were the terry schiavo song and the dumpster fire comment.

Family Guy -- "Brian Griffin's House of Payne" -- 03/28/10

"Brian Griffin's House of Payne"
Spoiler:
When Lois reads Brian's pilot script, she falls in love with it and insists that he meet with network executives to pitch it. The execs respond positively, and the initial casting session goes well with Elijah Wood auditioning for the lead role. However, when the suits insist that Brian hire James Woods and change the entire concept, Brian finds himself caught in a difficult situation. Meanwhile, Chris and Meg seriously injure Stewie and try to cover it up.

Brian goes to Hollywood, plus James Wood.

How ... original.

Pretty entertaining overall, the Stewie bit started a little funny but got a bit gross as the wound got infected.

Re: Family Guy -- "Brian Griffin's House of Payne" -- 03/28/10

Well, that was a dull premise (the brian story) coupled to a poorly implemented idea that could have been good (the stewie story). Still, it was better than tonight's Simpsons.

In the intro where Stewie is flying through space with Rupert, what was that referencing?

The show being called "Classholes" was the best part of the episode.

Joe's reaction to the show was great too

I think either Buck Rodgers or the original Battlestar Galactica. It was a great opener to a lackluster episode.

That was great. I got a kick out of the Stewie story, Brian, not so much.

I can watch the goriest, most horrific films out there without blinking but this stuff with Stewie's brain started getting uncomfortable to watch. The Raccoon chewing on it. C'mon, man. That's brutal.

Another thing that bothered me was they basically killed off the character then brought it back to life. That's fine for a special episode but not a regular one. There's no way Stewie survived that injury.

The dialog was referencing William Shatner's infamous rendition of "Rocket Man":

Is this a joke? You do realize you are watching a tv show right?
